Students from North Carolina A&T can be seen marching back to their HBCU after voting on the first day of early voting in the state. The Guilford County Board of Elections voted to remove the school’s on-campus polling site. (video via Todd Simmons) greensboro.com/news/local/g...

My grandmother was a member of the charter class of Delta Delta Delta at Cornell. Here she is with some Tri Delt sisters (lower left) in 1912, pregaming.

I'm no Kelly C (ha), but my microscopic amount of celebrity has taught me: Sometimes people don't recognize you and are rude because they're just dicks. Sometimes people DO recognize you and are rude because they're dicks. But when you punch down, regardless of the justification, you're the dick.

In a drug store and I just passed by a busy mom with four young kids. A brother bumped his sister and the mother said to him: I TOLD YOU TO KEEP YOUR BODY TO YOURSELF! I hope she follows him to college

As fallout from the Cornell story continues, do you want to hear some history about the rape-on-campus/false-accusation panic from someone who was starting college as it took shape? Because this isn’t new, and it’s going to get ugly

A woman was drugged, raped, and sexually trafficked to members of a fraternity. Two of the men involved were expelled. Five were given the opportunity to mitigate suspension by *writing an essay.* The dozens of other men who knew this was happening and said nothing? You already know the answer.

Absolutely disgusting. This school, which now costs almost $100,000 per year to attend, should ban all fraternities and sororities. Victims of criminal acts and hazing rituals should sue the school administrators and the national "Greek" organizations that shield criminals on campus.

Donald Trump has killed the Kennedy Center, one of this country's most important arts venues. Home to so many great performances and indelible memories for three generations of my family -- and millions of audience members and performers. I didn't think I could hate him any more. And yet ...

Burnett explained that while the sketch was brilliantly written, it called for "Starlett" to "come down the stairs with the curtains just hanging" on her. Mackie, thinking the visual element could be funnier, "came up with the idea of making the dress with the curtain rod. I fell on the floor."

"Saw it in the window and couldn't resist." RIP Bob Mackie, creator of the funniest Carol Burnett entrance dress of all time.

Within a few minutes at a lunch in Malibu I was treated to a number of very unflattering Natalie Portman anecdotes. And my trip across the country to California just paid for itself.

Fired for DOING HER JOB.

BREAKING A private arbitrator has ordered The Washington Post to rehire the opinion columnist Karen Attiah, who was fired in September over her social media posts about the assassination of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk. It also ordered the company to compensate her with back pay.

In ten years no one will know what "polite company" is

I truly believe in ten years not a single person will admit in polite company to having supported Trump. Honest to God I fully believe that

Please ... nobody tell me where truck stop hard boiled eggs come from (aside from hens) - because I LOVE them. I could live on these and pouch pickles. I need nothing more. (Well, maybe a nutritionist...)
