ONE MORE THING: if you are going to buy from a print on demand t shirt company, get the heavy weight option or preferably “comfort colors,” if they have it. These are better quality than the default shitty shirt most POD companies use. They drape better and the prints last longer.

A lot of Etsy sellers also use POD companies like printful for orders, so it’s worth asking them for a more premium shirt if they don’t carry it in their storefront.

Je suis TELLEMENT prête

Prediction: French gonna make a big comeback, we're entering a culturally Francophone era - dismissing stupid stuff, malaise et ennui, weird looks, "quietly poly" old school cheating, books, zouk, Caribbean European and African cultural & economic victories, c maintenant

Guy in wheel chair rolling after me as fast as he can shouting excuse me! excuse me! I turn around to see what’s up and he says “I need you to know you walk like Shirley Temple”

Still not the most unhinged interaction I’ve had in San Francisco- that would be the man who asked me how to get to Chinatown because I had “Chinese eyes”

next Pope should be whoever is best at playing dress up while managing diverse groups of weird zealots who have an unhealthy relationship to a billion dollar international cultural product. Whoever plays Goofy at Disney World would absolutely crush it imo

If you're a horror person who hasn't seen Eyes Without a Face, RUN, don't walk. It's on both Max and Criterion right now. Even more of a "holy crap, they made this WHEN??" horror film as its contemporaries Peeping Tom and Psycho.

It's George's Franju's birthday. So it's mine as well, but his is more important! Director of Eyes Without a Face, Judex, Spotlight in a Murderer, L'homme Sans Visage and more... Watch something extraordinary today.

A thing I noticed in golden gate cemetery is that prior to about 1999, many of the women didn't have a full name listed on the headstone, just "his wife."

I don’t usually shoot color film, but I just picked up Cinestill 800t, which is Kodak motion picture film respooled for still photography. Excited to try this!!

The hard truth is that there are some products you just can't make in America. These must be imported from elsewhere. Like chocolates, for example. American workers will always become overwhelmed by the speed of the conveyor belt. They'll end up shoving the sweets into their mouths and blouses
