God I love this stuff. Dogfish Head does this kinda stuff a lot and it's always so weird and cool.

Glad we've finally found a good use for history and archives - 'Sussex brewery has recreated an 136-year-old beer from a long-lost recipe after it was re-discovered in an archive'. πŸ—ƒοΈ www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Maybe I'm behind the times, or maybe I'm a millennial, or maybe it's just been a while since I've used O365 in a professional setting, but what the fuck did Microsoft do to this computer program. I'm sure you used to be able to open a file and look at it and they seem to have removed that feature.

Titanfall MMORPG where you can fight as pilot and mech and your guild is just a crew with a big carrier drop ship that you fly around to different planets and instance into dungeons by orbital drops and instead of player housing you get a ships cabin and a Titan bay to customize.

We already GOT our Startide Rising/Babylon 5/Hyperion shooty RPG, and it was a great time, now it's time for an Expanse/Gideon the Ninth/Memory Called Empire slashy RPG

Gideon the Ninth is like moving into a new house that might be haunted, and instead of haunted you find out there's a Narnia door to a labyrinth and cathedral built of obsidian, and it's haunted by lesbian AO3 fanfic writers, and on the altar of the obsidian cathedral is bible that's all dick jokes.

Is Gideon good should I read it

One of my biggest conspiracy theories is that sleep apnea is massively underdiagnosed. I didn't realize that I could wake up and not feel like death until earlier this year. Yes it's annoying yes it sucks but using a CPAP will dramatically increase almost every aspect of your life.

Ryan Estrada@ryanestrada.com

Do you get a full night's sleep but wake up feeling like death? Does your whole body feel off in ways you can't explain? Research signs of Sleep Apnea. Get a sleep test. You can't diagnose it yourself, cuz you sleepin'.

Drone tech has so many incredible applications for so many industries and if you want to make any sort of living you have to work for an illiterate Nazi pervert dweeb who collects erotic anime figurines.

Faine Greenwood@faineg.com

It genuinely does suck and is *bad* that it feels like there’s almost nowhere to go for people who 1. Want to work on robotics (like drones) and 2. Don’t want to build weapons.

Can we have one fucking tech company that is goddamn normal. What is even the point of this Proton. Your use case is literally so simple. Make usable shit, sit quietly in Switzerland, direct every fed to come back with a warrant.

I have not yet dialed in what books I can consume as audiobooks vs books I must sit down and read physically. Naomi Novik's Temeraire, great audiobook. All of Red Rising I think is actually enhanced as audiobook. Summer Sons I think I need to physically sit down and read hardcover and lock in.

This concept is legislative praxis of the broader Dudiverse Political Theory, in which it is posited that "What's wrong with men" can be solved by putting dude groups in garages with five or six beers and playing warhammer or poker while a 90's action movie plays, AND making phone gambling illegal.

look i support women having the sole right to hold elected office as long as men gain an equivalent unique civil right (the freedom to call each other "big guy" and "my man")

One of the coolest goddamn things I think I've ever read.

So Lula not only won, he basically doubled his margin of victory from 2022. I'm guessing he won thanks to voters who didn't love him, but were terrified to see Flavio given near-dictatorial power. It's going to be a messy next chapter for Brazil, but at least it'll be a fight, not a curb-stomping.

the core point of the pedocon theory article is that some people are looking for unequal relationships--people who are easier to control and manipulate--and one very reliable way of achieving that is to go after young people
