I don’t understand why some vegans feel so comfortable tone-policing other vegans, as if there’s one objectively correct way to advocate. I’ve found some approaches jarring myself, but telling others how they should advocate comes across as pretty entitled. Let’s focus on the animals instead. 😃🌱

Same here. No offense to any vegans out there who do, but it just wouldn’t be logically consistent to me if I knew I wouldn’t date a racist, etc., yet somehow made an exception for a speciesist. I would never refer to someone as an ex-vegan. If you couldn’t even investigate or do proper research to figure out what wasn’t working well for you, and instead just assumed that veganism itself was the problem, you clearly just weren’t connected enough to the ethics and the animals. #govegan 🌱

Isn’t it absurd? We have to ask people to vote for their own well-being. We have to ask ‘truth seekers’ to trust science over viral nonsense. We have to ask ‘animal lovers’ to stop funding cruelty for products they don’t need.

It’s not always easy to embrace who you are, especially while living in a world where hate and bigotry are so rampant. However, don’t allow anyone to break you—they’ll eventually do that to themselves. 😃
