Not to be overly grandiose about it, but that act of bravery, of hoping for connection between your work, your unique worldview, and readers, seems so much more vital and human, and why you would ever try to outsource that to an algorithm is beyond me.

One way for an author to lose me as a reader when I otherwise enjoy their work is to be a snob about self-published books At least keep it to yourself if nothing else. No one has to read anything they don't want to, ofc, but every publishing path is a hard road; we should all be in this together

Finished! (I think) My light sci-fi hopepunk story is finally finished! (I hope) Changed the name from 'Crumbs of Sin' to 'Knead-full Sins' Not sure if I've quite landed the ending, but that might be because I've read over it so many times.

Final edits, I hope... though gonna take it easy because not feeling too great this evening

I've decided to let natural selection be my new mindset. If they want to inject themselves with bleach, take Ivermectin, shove a light up their ass, and vote against their own interests, let them. We fix it for us, but we don't bail them out.

You don't need to understand someone. You just need to understand that they deserve respect.

"I don't understand queer people!" "I don't understand trans people!" You know what, Chad? There's a metric fuckton of stuff you don't understand and it's still real. It's also nothing to do with you. How about you focus on your own shit and leave people alone.
