My son said he was happy with his giftβthat he didnβt need any Christmas presentsβbut what he doesnβt know is that a smaller gift will appear under the tree, one that will, in all likelihood, elicit a laugh.
I miss my grandfather. He passed away from cancer 12 days before Christmas Eve. 68 years old and never got to realize the plan to go on a longer caravan holiday with grandma up north.
Time does not heal all wounds.ππ
Discovering my true family origins has been somewhat shocking, but at the same time, it has explained a few things and made the pieces of the puzzle finally fall into place.

Plan F*cking A: Haunt the Sh*t Out of Stede Bonnet is a go π€π»π€£β¨ #ourflagmeansdeath#ofmd#ofmds3#stedebonnet#izzyhands
It has been a tough year for my son, so he got his Christmas present earlyβand it was worth it to see him happier than he has been for a while, and thatβs what matters the most. β€οΈ
This letter was first started in England and has traveled around the world once a year, bringing good luck to everyone who received it. Now, it has been passed on to you. You must send this letter, along with six copies, to seven people who need good luck.
Miss Dizzy Izzy, the fainting rose of the molly house - some say, she likes her corsets too tight, some suspect, it's nothing but a fuckery to get the attention of a certain twat.

Stede has put the kettle on the stove for morning tea when he hears the sound of little paws against the floor.
"Oh, good morning, darling."
He goes to the door and opens it.
Bean sees the newspaper lying on the driveway and immediately runs out to get it.
He manages to get the newspaper to the door, where Stede is waiting, with some resistance.
"Our good boy."
Bean barks.
"Now, letβs go inside and make breakfast," he says, and Bean runs inside before Stede closes the door.
A perfectly ordinary morning in the Bonnet-Teach-Hands household.
Ed receives a mobile notification that a package has arrived at his door.
Bean follows him out of curiosity, but when Ed opens the door and sees the mysterious package lying there, he decides it must be something dangerous. Bean feels he must protect Ed, so he attacks the package.

Ed ignores him.
"Yes, itβs for you, little boy."
Bean barks.
"Sit." says Ed.
Bean sits and waits.
Ed holds out the shark to the dog, who takes it and walks away.
The three men follow Bean into the living room, where he has his daybed. (Yes, Stede chose to buy one.)
With BlΓ₯haj in his mouth, Bean crawls up into his bed, where he chooses to use it as a pillow.
Ed takes out his mobile and snaps a photo. He posts the photo on his Instagram with the caption, 'Our little Bean with his new friend Sharkie.'

"What did you even order, darling?" says Stede, who is a bit curious.
Ed takes the package and goes into the kitchen to use the scissors to open it.
Bean follows along, as he still doesnβt trust the mysterious box, and Izzy and Stede come too.
Ed takes out the contents which is... a shark plush. An IKEA BlΓ₯haj.
Izzy and Stede look a bit pensive.
Bean, on the other hand, starts barking, spinning around, and wagging his tail.
Ed drops to one knee, holding the BlΓ₯haj.
"Ed!" Izzy says, in a sharp tone. "Your knee."

"Bean, no!! Stop!" Ed exclaims.
Ed gets a hold of Bean and lifts him into the house, along with the package that the little dog refuses to let go of.
Both Stede and Izzy come out into the hallway, having heard the commotion.
Izzy tells Bean in a firm tone to let go, and he does.
Stede comes home after buying groceries, and Bean meets him at the door as he enters.
"Hello, little darling," says Stede. "Everything all right while I was gone?"
Bean responds with a bark.
"That sounds good, my dear. Could you perhaps fetch Ed so I can get some help?"
Bean immediately runs off, and soon barking is heard.
Ed seems to understand that Bean wants something, so he comes out to find out whatβand sees Stede.
"Coming, mate." says Ed.
The two men work together, and soon all the goods have been put away.
Bean is there, observing. He hopes that Stede has bought something for him.
Stede has done that. Dog treats in the classic bone shape with bacon flavor.
Bean gets one, and Stede says he can have one more after dinner.
Bean spins around with happiness.
He is truly a lucky dog.
I have to head to the hospital early in the morning, and my son doesnβt like it because it disrupts our morning routine.
I have promised to call him, though, when it gets close to the time to head down to meet the school transport so he doesn't miss it.
The fog was thick this morning, and Izzy didnβt like it, so he went out into the garden with Bean instead of going for a morning walk as usual.
Stede had set up a corner in the large garden for Bean to relieve himself when the weather wasn't good.
For that, Izzy was grateful.
In my case, the issue of estranged parents even extended to my maternal grandmother, as she tried to force me back together with the woman who had attempted to kill me when I was a child.
I suspect that her sanity went into the grave with my grandfather.
I tried to find a nice Christmas gift for my son, but the original plans fell apart due to poor handling.
At the beginning of the month, my son came to me and wanted to talk about a thing from a game that he really wanted.
He showed me a website and the price was a bit high, but the thing is, he rarely asks for anything.
So I have now bought the item he wanted, plus an item from another website with the same character.
I hope heβll be happy. β€οΈ
DOCTOR WHO QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Who is the all-time hottest DW companion? Any gender, and the question is not βbest,β just purely on your opinion of their attractiveness.
I have spent practically the entire day cleaning and found a large box of yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks. π―
Looks like my activity for the rest of the autumn and winter is sorted.
