At 25, you might dream of studying in Rome. At 45, you might discover a business opportunity in Berlin. At 65, you might want to retire in Spain. Freedom of Movement meant you didn't have to know your future in advance. That's the extraordinary freedom Brexit took away.

It's that simple. 👇

"By using AI, tasks like essays that used to take hours can be completed in minutes!" Sure, like how if I arrive at the gym and immediately go for a shower, my workout is done in record time. And if I throw my sandwiches straight in the bin, I can finish my lunch in under 10 seconds.

Nothing like East Midlands Railway and standing with most of the passengers getting on at Leicester as there’s no seats … yet again #firstworldproblems

@nickharkaway.com is the Russian press secretary Double Wide?

Bill Bryson’s words seem appropriate to post right now

Did he then take it with him, download it to his system, and then have it shredded

I was quite tempted to jump in.

Light trails on the Chain Bridge #Budapest

Chain Bridge #Budapest so pretty

Szabadság híd #Budapest The walk down doesn’t have lights and doesn’t always have handrails but there lies the potential for pratfalls!

Budapest all pretty, helps that there’s a new person in charge too!

The Wetland Project has been my favorite alternate-reality radio experience since it began. Since it only happens once a year, you can’t become accustomed to it. Close your eyes and be washed over by the sonic reality of an isolated bog on Saturna Island!

It is Election Day in Hungary. Time to oust Orban!!

Beautiful album Caoilfhionn Rose - Constellation caoilfhionnrose.bandcamp.com/album/conste...

@greatdismal.bsky.social hope you don’t mind my asking but how did Alain die in Count Zero? Wire pushed into his ear on into his brain?

Having a Bowie evening with my daughter. Something deeply satisfying in how generation spanning each album is. Low still my favourite.

Republican destroyers of empires.

Spot on.
