I did not expect the description to just be a description of what happened, but that’s literally what happened. White parents called the cops on a little kid for playing football

They called the cops on this 3-year-old Black boy because he was kickin the white kids' ass on the soccer field.

When the suspect in the racist attack at Trappes was sent to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation, some accused the French authorities of two-tier justice, claiming he was sent to a hospital rather than facing justice because he is white. He has been taken back into police custody.

I loathe that man. He's the reason I went from the huge pride of serving with Public Health England in Sierra Leone during the Ebola crisis, to leaving a job in loved within two years. He also laid the groundwork for the state of public health services in the run up to COVID.

Rassemblement National says trade unions that get public funds are misusing them when they delve into politics. The party says such unions are thus misappropriating public funds. Exactly what Le Pen was sentenced for with the money she got from the EU. (She is appealing to the highest court)

Dear Jeremy "Special K" Hunt, You say Burnham should not reopen the Brexit debate. Can you have a word with Kemi Bad Enough who wants to leave the ECHR, which may cause the collapse of the post-Brexit deal with the EU and the Good Friday Agreement, threatening peace in Northern Ireland?

What's remarkable about this article is that there's no mention of the police. No mention of a charge, an investigation, an arrest, even an interview www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

If the US is making a killing from super high (but actually low compared to Europe) fuel prices, why not keep higher prices and make even more money?

Are you a Labour MP (or office staff for same)? Have you been contacted by GB News & asked about my estimates of how (2024) constituencies voted in the EU referendum? Please remember: that was 10 years ago. Some people die, some turn eighteen—& most importantly, some change their mind!

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Reform wants to return to imperial measures because... the metric system should have been abolished as a result of Brexit. Brexit will not be delivered in full unless grams and litres disappear or summat.

It will be quite fun to have to reprogram millions of IT systems to display data in non-decimal units that require multiple units for the same measurement (ft and inches, stones and pounds, for instance) It will be very profitable for IT companies but ruinous for others. It will dwarf Y2K.

While con and the c word shared common meanings, they are of different origins. Latin vs Germanic. While con's meaning softened from the 18th century to the point of losing any reference to female anatomy, the c word went the other way and became more taboo starting in the Victorian era.
