Angel Reese is just the third player in WNBA history with 30+ points and 15+ rebounds in a Finals game (Breanna Stewart with Seattle in 2020; Jonquel Jones with Connecticut in 2019). Absolute monster performance!

How good is the Valkyries' defense? When comparing their defensive rating (pts allowed per 100 possessions) to the W average off. rtg. (pts. scored per 100 possessions), the Valks' D ranks #2 all time. See below for other teams that rank highly in this metric and how they fared in the playoffs.

Three of the other eight teams on this list won the WNBA title, and the Lynx were a Nneka Ogwumike putback and a blown call in 2024 away from making it five out of eight teams.

How about 100%? Can you at least be 100%, Drake? As a Patriots fan, I'm begging you.

[Lambert] Patriots QB Drake Maye reveals he is unsure if the US landed on the moon in 1969. “I don’t know about the moon .. I think I can see back in the day why we would put on the mask if we went there, but I’m not really sure 200% if we went there or not” www.boston25news.com/news/local/p...

A fascinating (on-court) WNBA storyline this season is that scoring is up. Way up. 🏀 Teams are averaging 87.6 PPG (on track to beat the league record by 4.5 PPG). 🏀 Teams are averaging 105.2 pts/100 possessions (on track for a new record). But wait, there's more... (1/3)

🏀 Just four teams in league history have averaged 90+ PPG over a full season. Four teams are averaging 90+ PPG this season. 🏀 If the season ended today, 5 of the top 10 single-season offensive ratings in WNBA history would belong to teams from the 2026 season. (2/3)

Some may argue this means that defenses have been abysmal. There's some truth to that, but to be fair, the combination of the W's officiating changes and the boatload of talented scorers will require an adjustment period for defenses. That said, it's been a blast to watch as a fan! (3/3)

Thanks to all of you for following along all season with us. As you know, women’s basketball never stops, this month we’ll be reflecting on the WNBA season and looking ahead to the NCAA.

Have to feel for the Lynx. This is where the US sports system always ends up feeling unfair. Might build to a crescendo and a dramatic finish, but Minnesota were the best team this year. Won't win a championship. Won't even get to play for one. Hard to take. #WNBA

I spoke to Stewart about this very conflict in September of 2024, but this convo didn't make it into my story. But @emilyadler.bsky.social's reporting shows that Stewie wants to take some action and might have found a solution. When I spoke to her, she was still trying to figure out one. ⬇️

This is a story very much worth your time by @emilyadler.bsky.social. It highlights the human struggle Breanna Stewart is going through when it comes to how she regards Harry Potter, something that played a huge role in her childhood.

Show this to certain folks (you know who) and ask them if they can identify & articulate WHY they're so committed to spreading a lie... Angel Reese leads the WNBA in rebounds with JUST DEFENSIVE BOARDS. Her 176 D rebounds > second place Azura Stevens' 172 total rebounds.

I don't pretend to be an expert on the Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud, but just saw that Drake is going off at +3500 for making a guest appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show. Seems like the payoff for an event that would cause the internet to explode should be a tad bigger?

It's WNBA draft lottery day! LA, Dallas, or Washington - who will get the #1 pick? Tune into ESPN at 5 p.m. ET today to find out. In the meantime, here are the chances of each lottery team ending up with a given top-4 pick (which include the impact of Dallas being able to swap picks with Chicago).

You are up to date.
