the thing about this post is that, though people are looking at it and saying "omg trans Ralsei real", there is like a 99% chance that this line in-game will actually be related to some absolute nonsense plot irrelevant goof. Queen's gonna say this standing next to a Ms. Pipis or some shit

it always feels SO wild to me to see how much reach and popularity the Fate series has achieved, given that I first encountered it as a 16 year old looking for porn games, played thru a fan translation of the original VN, and had it become a deeply formative influence on me and my tastes

now that I'm home from work I watched one of the OOT trailers instead of just looking at screenshots. it definitely looks better in motion but my god some of these character designs are just deeply uncanny to me. the whole thing feels off

and I got zero Ocarina of Time nostalgia (Wind Waker is the nostalgia game for me) so it's not like I'm coming from an "it's different so it's bad!" angle. it's just... hollow, somehow. graphical fidelity for the sake of graphical fidelity

when I first started looking at other people's playthroughs of Deltarune Chapter 5 once I'd finished my own, I was surprised by how few people seemed to immediately clock that the shopkeeper was Mew Mew, when I understood it right away

I haven't played the remaster yet but I loved both Type Help (I think I found it from Bea's recommendation, in fact?) and The Roottrees are Dead. I really love this style of deductive puzzle game and these two games have big tonal differences that show off the breadth of the genre
