The shut down of BioWare is part of a larger playbook at work. Everywhere we look, fascist-aligned billionaires are on a desperate buying spree. Why? Yes they're in it for the money, but they are also after power. The power to control which stories are told and which ones are silenced.

But just like it took our movement to pressure him to sign the Truth in Disclosure Act in the first place, we’re going to have to do the same to get him to fully commit to repair, so join our California pod or a pod near you to get our political leaders to champion repair and true equality.

We approached Gov. Gavin Newsom after he signed the Truth in Disclosure Act to ask him if he’d continue to build on this important piece of reparative legislation by committing to our repair mandate and it looks like he’s open to it. Some might say: he wants it that way.

The story of Troost Avenue, Kansas City’s historic dividing line of racial segregation isn’t just about segregation in Kansas City, it’s about how much we need to repair the historic harms the white supremacist faction wrought in order to create a future of freedom and equality for all.
