BioWare was not closed because their games were queer, or bad, or rushed, or too ambitious or anything else. They were closed because EA is trying to raise their bottom line by a couple percentage points and that always comes at the expense of the people who's labour is already being exploited.

I watched the new ‘Carrie’ series. It was okay. Definitely interesting but not entirely successful. I respect it for trying some new stuff but I don’t think all of it works for the story or themes. The ending especially felt overwrought and silly. Still worth a watch
