Make sure to double-check your Halloween candy this year, you never know what you'll turn into! #3danimation #furry

Been listening to the new Avalanches album and I'm conflicted about it because sometimes I play through it and it's really good, and other times it's just a continuous breeze and then it's over. It's 31 tracks but also kinda... shallow at the same time?

Also in parts it feels like they made a RAC album. Which is, I mean, not wrong in itself (I enjoy listening to RAC from time to time), but it's also a sign of mid-ness

Important meeting after work finished early, got important things shipped off at work, made time to write in the evening, unfucked my phone's USB port which was not charging (stuffed with lint ofc)

Made a bearblog as well, I guess to have a wall to put notes on and stuff that's not FA because I still get a little intimidated by it

Love workdays when I have to make a call to reach someone, and they reply "can I call you back?", and my brain can't start something new because they may call at any moment and I have to be ready. Waiting. And waiting.

Cool creative decision, I thought, it's not usual. Now I don't know if they just got inspired. But I liked that they did it.

There was a French animated show they broadcast over here, at least a decade ago. "Forest Friends". Different species having to share the land after a forest fire, learning to live together (and like kids, do shenanigans).

When they dubbed it to Norwegian, the producers selected VAs for the main protagonists from different parts of the country. With disinct regional accents, this creates the same Redwall atmosphere. The squirrel was a Westlander, the fox a Trønder and the mouse a Northerner, et cetera.

When I was out getting the first Blacksad collection (the first three stories) my brother were in the same store, and flippantly asked "hey are you are furry or what" when he saw what I was getting. I was not then. At least so I thought.

Sitting across a guy on the train that is just an incarnation of so many furry art pieces I see people simp over. Fast asleep while a small portion of belly peeks out under his hoodie. Friday bear.
