I'd go as far as saying no tech company is trustworthy with your writing anymore. Keep it exclusively offline on your local machine, and make frequent backups on removable media.

In the majority of cases it's morally neutral if you want to consume the work of a problematic creator. Not for JKR though. She is a firm exception. She has the wealth and clout to affect policy and the zeitgeist in a way almost no other creators can. And she is actively doing so.
