An incredible story. The Iranian Christian woman who wrote “help” on the glass on the hotel in Panama has finally found permanent safety; in Canada. The Trump admin deported her to Panama soon after taking office, rather than let her seek asylum. Read her story 👇 www.nytimes.com/2026/08/25/w...

I took a hard look at the financial donors to ICE’s biggest supporters in Congress. These are people who want to significantly expand ICE’s power and have sponsored or co-sponsored legislation to do so. Here are the top 25 consumer brands bankrolling the biggest ICE supporters in Congress:

For anyone who doesn’t want to place this death on HSI/ICE, their mistreatment of detainees—medical neglect resulting in numerous deaths, deportation to countries they aren’t from + don’t have means to leave—is just one reason people are running + being killed, when they aren’t shot directly.

NEW: A 28-year-old man died Tuesday morning following an encounter with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Homeland Security Investigations agents in St. Augustine, marking the third death involving ICE in a week.

Not to mention the constant terror of being separated from their families and communities. Half of the time the individuals being murdered are not even the “target” of the arrest.

Just today an ICE officer jeopardized the safety of our city when they stopped in the center of a freeway on-ramp to pepper spray a car of a volunteer that was peacefully and passively monitoring their activity to protect our communities.

NEW: He was picking up a work crew to take them to construction site at 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning. ICE showed up. And now this small business owner, the father of three American citizens, is dead. www.thebulwark.com/p/he-lived-h...

There's a perverse symbolism in the legacy of White racism sheltering under the bowers of all African Americans have done for this country while patiently waiting for the chance to go back to insisting we are a drain upon their society and that they never needed us at all.

I’m not going to lie—I really didn’t think this was real. Our tax dollars at work painting our immigrant community as ‘alien invaders’ to be eliminated. This is the kind of rhetoric that leads to murder, already happening in detention centers across the country. Not freedom—state sanctioned deaths.

If you don’t like what you’re seeing at Delaney Hall, pay attention to what’s happening in Congress this week.   We must stop giving ICE and for-profit companies like GEO Group a blank check to create chaos.

Yesterday I published this detailed article arguing that women are simply not safe around men. I cited history, data, legal analysis, and meaningful solutions to combat the systemic violence men commit against women. It is currently approaching 500,000 reads. www.qasimrashid.com/p/women-are-...

qasimrashid.comWomen Are Not Safe Around MenThis is a fact. The data is unambiguous and the solutions exist. The only thing missing is the will to act.

This is going to be such a nightmare to unravel…

Hmm. I just took a ~1500 word piece that I wrote word by word the old fashioned way like the actual writer I am, and ran it through an AI checker just to see what it said, and it highlighted 13 separate phrases that it thinks were likely AI generated. *sigh* This seems bad.

This is just exhausting. And also all a constant attempt to distract from an insane war, ICE’s ongoing egregious behavior, and the abhorrent reality of the Epstein files.

Hey, Christians, what’s worse? Trump posting a meme depicting himself as Jesus, or Trump lying about posting a meme depicting himself as Jesus?

There’s always enough money for wars, for ICE, for billionaires. Just not for you.

Buttigieg: You’ve got money from the Middle East going into the Trump family crypto fund while you have Americans going to the Middle East for Donald Trump’s war.

Above and beyond the Epstein files (for which he believes he will never face any consequences), @ianbassin.bsky.social is absolutely right. This is primary reason these attacks are happening now.

Sadly, this is about the next election. He’s laying the groundwork to declare his election “emergency” to change rules and argue to courts they can’t question his national security judgment in war time. And if the Court does, he’s preparing to say that’s beyond their constitutional powers.

When the Supreme Court allowed immigration agents to consider race during sweeps, Justice Brett Kavanaugh said that citizens shouldn’t be concerned because agents will “promptly let the individual go.” For these Americans, that wasn’t true. (Published Oct. 2025)

This article is a very good example of why "more training" and "more vetting" isn't the answer. Jesus Ochoa and Raymundo Gutierrez joined Border Patrol in 2018 and 2014 respectively. These aren't new agents. www.propublica.org/article/alex...

This is horrifying—the child asking her to open the door, her husband screaming from the ICE vehicle not to do it, because they’d all be taken, including her child inside with her.

College money well spent and needed. Rice students created an interactive map exposing ICE raids across the country as they're unfolding. Soon it will be a map of ICE raids and ICE murders. Keep reminding Schumer and Dems.

The wins just keep coming. If you weren’t convinced before about Jeffries leadership, this should really be a breaking point.

An extraordinary document. Read it. “Attached to this order is an appendix that identifies 96 court orders that ICE has violated in 74 cases. … ICE has likely violated more court orders in January 2026 than some federal agencies have violated in their entire existence.”
