Not only is this not happening, the Chinese dominance of EV’s is a terrifying development for US auto manufacturers.

Trump dodges the draft, hires foreign workers for his resorts and country clubs because he doesn’t want to pay Americans a decent wage, and buys materials for his various DC construction projects overseas. He is neither a patriot nor America First. He is just a greedy bastard.

Trump again claims the Iran “10-point plan” was a “fake hoax”—but those terms came directly from Iran, were widely reported, and he himself admitted he’s using them as the framework for negotiations. How could someone who lies so brazenly about undisputed facts ever be trusted?

Hegseth said we’ve rendered Iran combat ineffective for years to come. Just today, Iran has launched attacks at UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Israel, damaging critical infrastructure (desalinization plants, oil pipelines, etc) Less than a week since they shot down an F-15 and an A-10.

So are we back to taking Greenland, Cuba, Canada or someplace else tomorrow?

So there’s no regime change, we lift all sanctions against them going back decades, they retain missile and drone capabilities, they control the strait and can charge tolls, and keep their enriched uranium. So much for “unconditional surrender.”

Despite Hegseth’s bravado this morning, the last 24 hours are clearly the worst for Trump’s folly, with massive refineries hit in multiple countries. The impact on the US and global economy is going to be brutal and affect every American. This war is a disaster.

I hate this. Folks who work their entire lives should be able to retire with dignity and some peace. This story may have a happy ending, but for far too many seniors it does not. 📌 Richard Pulley, 78, was forced out of retirement and had to take a DoorDash gig after his wife lost her job.

The fact that Hegseth feels the need to attack the press after every question shows how deeply insecure and unhinged he is. His TV studio with soft lighting, his makeup, hype videos, barring photographers from briefings - his sole obsession is how he is portrayed to the public.

As a country we have made a lot of mistakes in foreign wars over the last 2+ centuries. But I’m not sure we have ever looked as feckless, foolish, incompetent and ridiculous at the leadership level than right now.

There were reporters in the room yelling out questions about it in the back, but Hegseth refused to call on them and never specifically addressed the bombing of the girls school.

So it now appears based on many media reports that we bombed a girls elementary school and killed 175 people, and right after that Hegseth was beating his chest in a press conference saying we weren’t going to worry about “stupid rules of engagement” anymore.

The reason we have “stupid rules of engagement” is to make sure we don’t bomb elementary schools.
