NEW: Remedy's latest game, Control Resonant, is filled with art galleries. The galleries are filled with real art When I began talking to Remedy about it, I was delighted to discover who the artists are: many are the game developers' parents My story... www.gamefile.news/p/control-re...

gamefile.newsWho made the art inside Control Resonant? When the developers of Control Resonant needed to fill their video game version of New York City with art galleries, they tapped the talents of people they knew particularly well

I have blocked the numbers. I have texted STOP. They keep coming, it's driving me fucking crazy. If Alabama politics wasn't fucking landlocked to the gop maybe I'd engage but yall already know you're going to win so why are you bothering me?

If I had one gripe it was the first episode had an amazing speech about the beauty of film and its sanctity as an artform. It led me to believe it would be a major theme of the show but it doesn't really come back up outside of a few moments. The rest of the show was phenomenal however.

Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2. 9/10. Great followup to the first, I was worried it wouldn't live up to the original. It takes a minute for the mystery to get going but once it does it's gripping. Storywise I think it's weaker than s1, but by pure spectacle and animation it is leaps and bounds ahead.

Thank you, Mr. Tetsuya Chiba, for everything you have given us through your art and stories. Your work has touched so many hearts and inspired generations of artists, including those of us who will carry that legacy forward. I am truly grateful for everything you have left behind.

I also didn’t realize that Black Thought was part of the Gorillaz touring band- I’ve been a lifelong fan of The Roots so this was like seeing a God in person

between serbia, brazil, and hopefully november 3, a good reminder: voting works it’s not the end, there’s always work to be done after the vote, but if you want to beat the motherfuckers and keep them out of power: vote your asses off

I'm seeing some clips from Visionquest with Ultron being sassy and I'm wondering if it's worth actually watching. I kind of liked Ultron in his movie, the problems I had with it were more with the pacing and dumb subplots. If it's good, I wouldn't mind seeing him again.

I was reminded today of Toonami's jetstream service, which was a late 90's early 2000's attempt at a streaming service before even YouTube. It had a rotating collection of DBZ episodes as well as a few other shows. Iirc it's where the show MAR premiered in the west.

Was thinking about writers who pass away before their works were complete. I wonder which is better, their work being continued by those close to them, or left with the mysteries forever unsolved. I think about Berserk, I appreciate it still going but felt the sudden ending was rather fitting.

If Oda suddenly passed away and the mystery of One Piece forever lost, would it still have the same impact? Would people still talk about it? What if it's just it ends serialization but Oda's estate releases a statement saying "This was the One Piece, RIP Oda"? Which is more satisfying?

I partly believe the imagination of the fans that read the work is more powerful than whatever the author can come up with. I genuinely believe when the One Piece is revealed there will be a large swathe of people disappointed by it. It can't appease everyone. So why not let them make it themselves?

It's really important to pay attention to the fact that Lula beat the fascist candidate not by compromising and trying to meet fascist voters in the middle, but by sticking to his guns, promising prosecutions for election interference, and mobilising his own voters to turn out in greater numbers.

Lula winning is great for the planet, great for Brazil, and great for people who aren't revanchist assholes everywhere in the world, but let's not forget that it's also going to make some of the worst people on Earth extremely sad and mad. We should enjoy that, as a little treat.
