hell yeag editorial note: we drove six hours to the place we were going, and then four hours back. it was very nice :3 editorial note: i want to make file sizes smaller so people with lower-end connectivity to the internet can access them a bit more quickly, so they're a little less high in q[...]

Please keep waffing, keep being odd, keep being weird, post more nipples, that's my last announcement of today. We fight fascists with t4t fandom fuckery and we need you in the battlefield. I love you. — @noahebalon.at.app.wafrn.net

The set came together so beautifully I cried

I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship. Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable. Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for. We should stick together

Ughhhh I hate ai I was excited to try cyber knights flashpoint, it seemed really cool! This heist planning thing with xcom style combat, it's a slam dunk for me in genre. But in character creation it felt so generic that a thought crept into my mind. "Is this ai generated?"

@TreseBrothers Hello, Your product (Cyber Knights) has an AI disclosure agreement in its steam page, and I would like to know whether or not you can allow users to audit the extent at which generative-AI was used, specifically because in situations for other video games, there's no way to c[...]

i figured out today that i can cut off websites from my browser by editing the hosts file <3 that's pretty cool. for now i can't access reddit or tiktok, mostly through personal choice of a) those sites not being super healthy for the internet in general. i will add more to the list most likely[...]

i asked a question and looked it up whether im outputting a 2-bit image or not, but typing --verbose really does solve whatever knowledge u need sometimes

that's so fucking insane i'm genuinely unsure how someone could do this unironically and not feel a shred of embarrassment. i'm sorry you had to deal with something like that. like i don't necessarily think using llms immediately makes you evil, there is an insane amount of entitlement to othe[...]

I wish people in other communities would stop conflating wafrn and "wafrn users" with a single person or two being out of touch, but that might be asking for too much

got oxipng and didder up so i can reduce images down to lower sizes again!!! and i can more easily access the files, instead of trying to load them onto a 2004 laptop lmao but we're here! gnome can be kinda slow for some reason, but whatevs it's not gen-AI and (so far) it's doing whatever i wan[...]

mornyaan barkwolp chat!!! i'm still coming at you from my 2004 laptop, because my PC is ebuilding gnome (i think the last step in the purocess to get my main computer up and running), and life is good. getting gentoo installed w/o systemd, w/o glibc, w/o all the pro-AI noise, and w/o KDE is pre[...]

@lumi your gif in your profile name lags out my 2004 laptop lmao <333

A single piece of confetti is called a ‘confetto.’ spaghetti = spaghetto graffiti = graffito

@gabboman.xyz updates from the 2004 laptop: opening the emoji list with the button definitely slows down the scrolling, but scrolling at all w/o doing that is surprisingly fast !!! loading single emojis tends to be fine, <3 the behavior is really interesting loll i have a terminal open, and it[...]

mornyaan wolpers i hope you slept well. it's gentoo day for me:wolfbut11:

hey, they found another CVE vulnerability where using the PC or phone for long periods of time can reduce your real life eyesight, they're working on a patch at the kernel but as a workaround ensure to have blue light filters on and to take breaks from these devices every so often

hey out there wafrn, i've been wanting to get into lo-fi technology specifically in ARM architecture? do y'all know a good low-fidelity board/processors that can do very light 3d-rendering and maybe compress images down and dither them? #lo-fi #low-fidelity #<3-hey-there-wafrn-i-hope-you're-do[...]

microblog dev diaries in the form of discord servers are definitely pervasive, and to my knowledge there aren't really any alternatives for those kinds of forums bdside individual websites and codeberg, but those aren't "alternatives" because people tend not to make games on codeberg and github[...]

i know dr pepper is a woman because i like her

my pawpads aren't actually five feet long btw. me and a group of other cryptids stomped the soil for 15 minutes to make it look like one big critter was sauntering around.

let people be people. let people be messy and raw and passionate and human. let the world have rough edges for us to scrape ourselves on.

somebody else will never be as enthusiastic as you are about the things you adore, and that's okay. be enthusiastic anyway.

so i used didder for the dithering (dithering doesn't make images smaller by default, but making the sizes smaller and reducing the color palette to maybe 5 or less colors helps [my resolutions are 900x280, mostly because my camera pictures are desqueezed anamorphic pictures, so resize at your [...]

I hate I have to do this- But there's been a lot of reports coming in over unlabeled fetish content. The reports in question are coming from people who are ALSO reposting and replying to fetish content, thus putting it on the local explore tab as well. I ask everyone to please reread our inst[...]

i updated my neocities website, i plan to update more of it, but yeag it look goob https://mechanavel.neocities.org

i think today i'll not do any purrojects. take it easy, make it simple. but i should eventually make a 3d version of my character :3

SIDE B of the road trip <3 i got to experimenting with my photography and blending it with my drawing art style. i want to put 3d art in this process as well, but that'll come later. literally i spent 5 12-hour days editing these. i'm proud of myself for doing it, but also HOLY SHIT. in any cas[...]
