one of the reasons ive spent the last 15 years showcasing game artists (concept esp) is that their work is SO important to our love and understanding of our favourite games, and the people responsible are criminally under-appreciated for the work they do.

I keep seeing people saying the games industry is going through a crash, but it really isn't. That implies the industry itself is in trouble. Big publishers and platform owners are all making big profits, and are still laying people off and closing studios. It's not a market crash. It's vandalism.
There is no need for fireworks now with drone shows. No need for pets and vets to cower and for wild life to suffer as well as the pollution and noise. I said what I said.
Our games industry is people. Our studios are people. Our teams people, our games by people for people. Our games are made by people, in groups of people, in teams of people, making people things for people.
The magic is people, and the people deserve so much better than all this. I am so sorry.
It's messed up how the 6 month break I took from hema training just so happened to coincide with a 6 month long pervading sense of hopelessness.
Super cool that an intensive 3 hour fencing workout this week aligns with a huge mood boost.
During last nights game, a bad man attacked this lady and infant like 5 times and she got up from downed 3 times then molotov'd a guy for a glorious deed.
*posts the rest of the KillTeam*
To be the spiritual successors of the Fellgore I enjoyed so much, I spent a lot of time trimming and rebuilding these guys. There were big alterations to the Impaler in replies & vague bit list in alt text.
I'll be posting a bunch of warhammer killteam shit. If you followed because of a repost you should join me in hobbying.
I'm serious, I'm about to start journaling Trench Crusade fiction and it's getting weird.
I did the thing!
Even though work has us locked in the autodesk eco-system (such as it is) Blender is a fantastic platform you may end up using unless you can drop thousands on a corpo license.
Blender is struggling. it's the best piece of 3d software on the market, and it's free. I'm not going back to autodesk.
please donate if you can!
