last month, before That Ad made it to air, I went down to Ohio to figure out why Vivek Ramaswamy seemed to be struggling so much in his home state. the South Asians of Columbus, the bored students of OSU, and the hecklers of the Cleveland 'burbs all helped me understand: slate.com/news-and-pol...

“…among Ramaswamy’s fellow South Asians, a demographic that has drifted a touch rightward in recent cycles, there is also widespread doubt…for many of his would-be constituents, the question is what those connections mean when the candidate has embraced a movement that sees them as the enemy.”

There’s a place in town that charges $12 for a ridiculously good, HUGE fried chicken sandwich made with obviously high quality ingredients and I’m starting to wonder if the price of every other sandwich in the United States is an MLB owners collusion situation.

yeah just because bryce has been in a roughhh situation doesn't mean he deserves to play

Interesting MGoBlog case to go back to Bryce and he’s gotten a raw deal doing everything asked of him while the adults around him have repeatedly fucked up but … I think you have to see if Carr can hold up against a real defense

A good lesson my dad (literally a building/facilities manager) taught me is that you should never be embarrassed about not knowing how something works, because no one in history has ever learned how something works for any reason besides "it just broke and you need it."

Wow. Sounds stupid

Time for my annual experience of watching a non-Mets/Reds team and realizing baseball is in some waysdifferent now from the 1987-1994 and 1999-2011 periods during which I followed it with pathological intensity

before Trump all news was like this all the time

Vulture@vulture.com

Dua Lipa reportedly ate a hot dog for the first time at October 7’s Yankees-Rays game. But how could that possibly be true? Vulture went back six years through the archives in search of a stray dog.

Honestly would not have guessed that the median voter would take up against data centers. Big buildings way out in the country, generally not getting in anyone’s way, that symbolize the economy doing good. Interesting! Maybe shouldn’t have surprised me after Biden inflation consequences.

Michigan sports should look into having an internal team that is responsible for monitoring and resolving interpersonal issues involving athletes and coaches before they reach CNN.com. A department of “human capital” maintenance if you will that treats people like a “resource” to be optimized.

You never want a 21 year old player’s angry post game group chat texts, when leaked, to strike most observers as “fair” and “a sober and accurate depiction of what the coaches with brand new $60 million contracts have messed up”

The End of Oak Street very strong entertainment but did not like what they did to suburban Detroit topography. I realize he’s “from there” but cmon there is a glacial lake next to it if you want to mess around with prehistoric times.
