"Perhaps Nashville SC's greatest success in 2026 is giving the city a team that looks like them, plays like them, and brings them joy week in and week out." Nashville SC are the 2026 Supporters' Shield winners, and they're bringing Music City together.

Red Bulls are carving Miami apart at will, should have scored three or four goals, and have been more wasteful than maybe any team I've seen this season. Messi is going to come off the bench in the second half and RBNY are going to pay for all these misses.

Nashville SC are officially the 2026 Supporters' Shield champions. 70 points through 31 matches, five points away from setting the single-season points record. They tie the MLS record for fewest games needed to clinch the Shield. Incredible season from the 'Yotes!

Hany Mukhtar adds another for Nashville SC! That's the Shield wrapped up for Nashville SC. Great pressing from the captain to win the ball, and a difficult finish after a great run. He's bagged seven in his last six games. That's his 99th MLS regular season goal.

Nashville rolling with their best-possible XI and bench to try and clinch the Shield in Montréal.

twitter is a lost cause obviously because it's a septic tank but i am begging the good people of bluesky to discern original work from empty aggregation accounts and spend your attention and time on the former, not the latter

Meanwhile Nashville SC gave US Open Cup championship rings to all their players and coaching staff, every employee, and even media who covered the final in Austin.

this is fucking appalling. i already knew james dolan (who owns the knicks and madison square garden) was a douche but this is next-level. www.nytimes.com/athletic/771...

Would have been nice to lock down the Shield, but this is a good point on the road. Five all-time matches between Nashville and San Jose. All five have ended in draws.

FT: Supporters' Shield celebrations will have to wait, but a solid point on the road.

A win or draw will lock down the Shield on Saturday against CF Montréal, no matter what else happens. Nashville also officially win the Eastern Conference tonight.

With wins from Vancouver and Miami earlier tonight, nothing other than a win in San Jose will clinch the Supporters' Shield for Nashville SC tonight.

BJ Callaghan: "Hany Mukhtar is one of the best Designated Players that has ever come into this league. He's been invaluable to Nashville SC, the city of Nashville, and our fans."

A win on Saturday in San Jose officially clinches the Supporters' Shield for Nashville SC. A draw clinches as long as Vancouver drop points in Austin. A loss clinches as long as Vancouver and Miami both drop points.

FT: Emphatic win from Nashville. They're no one result away from clinching the Supporters' Shield, and have tied the MLS all-time record for home wins in a season with 14.

Espinoza, Nájar, Corcoran, and Mukhtar all taken off. Warren Madrigal gets back on the pitch for the first time in 12 matches, while Patrick Yazbek hasn't been subbed on. Have to think that means a full-strength squad on Saturday in San Jose.

GOAL! It's a fourth for Nashville. Elias Saad dances past a few defenders and puts in a cross for Sam Surridge to head home on the goal line. It may have been going in already. Actually, it was definitely going in already.

With that assist from Cristian Espinoza, Nashville's three Designated Players have combined for 69 goals and assists in all competitions this season. Nice.
