There are people in the world who don't want to offend you. And there are people in the world who don't want you to fail. Know the difference, and keep the latter close.

Do you ever work really hard for something, achieve it, then feel like it's not a big deal because *you* were able to do it? What do you do to register a sense of a accomplishment instead of just moving on to the next challenge? #founderMentalHealth #MentalHealthAwareness #entrepreneurship

2 things I've learned so far this year: 1. Your user is not necessarily your customer 2. If you can't get people to set aside time for you, they won't set aside budget, either. You can figure that out without a single line of code. #startup #founder #womenintech

I wonder if the reason TERFs are so committed is because they associate their femininity with survival. To be socialized female is to suffer in many ways, for many walks, because you're fem. It's not an excuse. But it might be insight into the root of the illness of anti-trans hatred.

My god. My child is stomping through the house in his pajamas, playing Duel of the Fates on a kazoo. It's been half an hour. I'm too frustrated to stop him. It's like I'm frozen. There was no class on this.

Exploiting labor through economic desperation is setting us back as a species. People are more creative, more productive, more invested, and more inquisitive when our basic needs are met.

Look there is nothing wrong with being ungovernable. There is nothing wrong with being difficult. But there is nothing redeemable about being an asshole. Know the difference.

I have had not 1, but 3 engineers get really excited about startup, then bail when it turns out the whole "raise $10M on an idea and a FAANG resume" is a fairy tale. If you're an expert with grit and an idea, don't wait for a tech co-founder. Get tight with AI and YouTube. #entrepreneur #founder

My toxic trait is being hyper aware of the fact that when I say "without libraries, I'd have never gotten out of the projects," a double digits percentage of legislators see that as an argument for banning libraries.

It is NOT difficult. Identify the oppressor. Identify their target. Protect the targeted, especially the vulnerable. The role of the persecuted is to distract the exploited and make both profitable. REBEL.

“If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” A classic quote from Malcolm X, who was assassinated 60 years ago today.

Anyone else feel pain when you're listening to music with headphones on and the sound switches back and forth, speaker to speaker? It hurts! Anyone feel like music is enhanced by doing that?

People who think prompt engineering is just trying stuff at random until you get the results you hoped for: I have bad news for you about how the majority of programmers work.

I am proud of all the people who DIDN'T understand Kendrick's performance taking the time to LEARN more about the cultural impact & significance. We see you. We thank you. We appreciate you.

Kendrick Lamar won the Pulitzer for his work. I say this so maybe, maybe people will grok that when you put a decorated artist of that caliber on the stage, the performance is going to have a backbone to it that, like other Pulitzer decorated art, requires thought, engagement, and serious analysis.

While the half-time symbolism is hot, lemme just say: "Cultural Appropriation" is a neoliberal social policing concept designed to promote segregation "politely." Love art and the people who make it. You belong where you contribute. Ask questions. Listen to answers. Fuck segregationists.

I could just brag about my company's commitment to data privacy and general ethics forever. It's not even slowing us down, and I sleep like a baby thinking about it every night. Here's to an ethical and neurodivergent future!

For 60 years we let our nation be run by unimaginative people who remember throwing baseballs at Black toddlers for prizes at the local carnival and now we're surprised that they have recreated memories instead of ideals?

Among other things, #autism is a developmental disorder. But Black women are expected to function and be used as full adults by age 10. So everybody's real mad when they meet you nearly 40 and you struggle to conceal childlike excitement for your hyperfocus. Just a convo I feel is missing.

They did not, however, publish the names, photos, or public information of the administrators of the site. Nor did they publish where they obtained the "hundreds of millions of dollars" they boasted spending on dismantling "DEI initiatives".

Federal health workers are expressing fear and alarm after a website called “DEI Watch List” published the photos, names and public information of a number of workers across health agencies, describing them as “targets.” www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...

I will never forget having to carry clear backpacks to school. I will never forget cops making surprise visits to my 3rd grade classroom. I will never forget men in black wearing shiny, jingling objects close to their guns to get our attention. It was the 90s. They called us "super predators."

Y'all know none of this is new. Now, you'll have to decide for real this time, is it wrong? Do you really not like it? Or do you just not like *seeing* it? Do you not like it? Or do you not like it for *YOU*? Because if these conditions exist at all, there will always be a next in line.
