Small potential issue: my current computer is incompatible with our new WiFi because this fossil doesn't support WPA3 so I'm using an adapter to get around that but I have no idea what streaming is going to look like so we're going to play by ear lol

I’m starting to get requests from developers with Next Fest Demos. If you want to be featured in my Everything I Played During Next Fest write up, reach out to me via email. I’m on vacation but I’ve been monitoring and moving emails into a Demo Bros folder to get to when I’m back.

Hey all, sorry for the silence and lack of streaming and demo videos. I’ve been in the middle of moving and then going on vacation. I do want to stream as soon as I’m able, to play a few games I need to play for stream and I’m looking forward to getting back to playing more demos!

I found a bottle of Buffalo Trace for $25 at one of my local gas stations. It was the last bottle and apparently I was the like the 3rd person to get a bottle in that store that day. I didn’t even go in for that, I was getting myself dinner lol. But I’ve never seen it sold below $30

Creating this no-ai indie games starter pack is one of the best things I ever did on BlueSky. Lots of great developers in here, making things with their own hands, some of whom I might not have found otherwise!! go.bsky.app/78u8M6Y

I’m the age of gamer that does not care about skill anymore. If I’m not having fun anymore, I’m dropping the difficulty down lol. I’m now playing Resident Evil Requiem on Casual and I’m going to enjoy a nice breezy atmospheric time until I roll credits lol

A lot of "well I'm boycotting it anyway" quotes sort of missing the point that a boycott is a specific tool you deploy with a purpose. I think it's the right move to sidestep trying to make a public dent in what *will* be an immensely high-selling game in favour of directly asking for legal support.

Don’t boycott GTA VI. Fight for justice for the people who made it: youtube.com/shorts/hhIES... T-shirt preorders open now! All proceeds from the t-shirts, which are ethically made and designed by us, will go towards the fired Rockstar workers’ legal funds. bit.ly/4xLc4IP

Marx’s Labor Theory of Value states a product’s worth is determined by the level of effort required to create it. People intuitively understand that a thing made without effort isn’t worth their time or money.

I keep seeing ads for this company called Whskey Library that will send you a couple bottles based on the results of a taste survey and they’re bottles that you can’t find in chain stores. Thinking about splurging some overtime money on a box.

If you haven't worked in the industry in the last two years because you've been unable to find a job, it'll boot you out of the survey. So say you're self-employed.

They haven't posted about it yet but this year's GDC State of the Game Industry Survey is available to fill out should any of you desire. You've seen all the articles and that the results end up driving, so may as well make them reflective of your contributions too. gdconf.typeform.com/SOTI26eoy

The realization that every morning after I had a Factor meal for dinner, I don’t feel like shit. Like significantly less heartburn, no additional lethargy to just being sleepy. I never realized how much of a difference portion control and more fiber from veggies every night would make a difference
