Wisconsin is a leader in biotechnology and personalized medicine. That’s why I worked to bring a Tech Hub to our state. It was great to be in Madison with so many incredible leaders who are working to grow our biotech sector and improve health care for patients.

Reports of a burning cross in a Chicago park remind us that racial intimidation still exists. Everyone deserves to live without fear of being targeted for who they are. Communities must stand united against hate. What more can we do to prevent hate crimes and protect vulnerable neighbors?

As Yom Kippur came to a close this evening, I was privileged to join my friend, Ruth Messinger, at a break fast in her home. It was an honor to celebrate this moment of renewal with many of our Jewish neighbors. May it be a year of justice, joy and peace.
