Crow fledgling exploring the world on June 30th. Parents above went mildly berserk when it moved too close to me, literally tearing off twigs and stomping on branches. They calmed down when their blue-eyed one hopped to a sheltered garden spot. #Birds #BirdOfTheDay #corvidae #BlueSkyEye #CheatCode

While lining up a shot of a heron, I glanced to my left and was astonished that this Cooper's had landed on the fence not 10 ft away! It lingered long enough for several photos, and then flew up into a tree for a better view of potential prey. #BirdOfTheDay #raptors #chance #deadly #avian #dinosaur

Male hooded merganser with half-ingested goldfish, a situation that persisted for several minutes. It looked about as pleasant as eating a raw oyster, shell and all. Second photo shows him heading for a stump in the water to rest on, with some tail still protruding. #BirdOfTheDay #ComeEatWithMe

Repost this one for me please

"Headline Newds: An eight-part series fronted by different OnlyFans creators. Each film will use sexual, direct-to-camera addresses to bring clear and memorable explanations of hot-button issues relating to climate change."

I spoke with Betty. She was very emotional and asked me to tell you that “she would love to give each one of you a great big hug.” We’re so close to changing her life. If you can give $5 or $10, it would be awesome. If not, I completely understand, but a repost is free. Thanks very much.

Trump is right, there is a war on Christians. He's the one doing it.

Local pond with non-local turtle inhabitants. The Ouachita map turtle to left and Mississippi map turtle to right 'belong' in the southeastern USA, and were likely dumped after their appeal as pets wore off. Having no one to breed with = not invasive. #nature #turtle #photography #art #reflections

A tree swallow fledgling awaiting its BeakDash® breakfast delivery, and receiving the goods from the 'driver'. The landing/feeding took less than a second, so I was mighty happy to capture that moment. #birds #nest #insects #photography #emotions #nature #luck #beauty #SurreyParks

This post went viral on FB today, I thought maybe y'all would appreciate it too.

The Democrats are lucky to have a politician like @aoc.bsky.social in this moment.

C'mon, followers of this humble broken brainiac, LISTEN to this:

Why is most US media still treating recent events as "normal"? Here's my take: "Day after passing day, it was clear that even if the US and its $27 trillion economy was not exactly tipping post-coup into a full authoritarian state, then it had at least firmly slipped into banana republic territory."

In January, I tested the waters with Citizens' Climate Lobby and I: 1) created a Blue Sky account for them (please follow). bsky.app/profile/ccls... 2) helped arrange for CCL to be featured on the next Climate Chat. (please help get this one a lot of views/likes) www.youtube.com/live/aTLORkH...

Having watched with growing alarm the developments of the last 24 and 36 hours in Washington, I thought I’d take a stab at how the US media would cover this story if it was happening in a foreign country. Here’s that story that should be written this weekend: www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/musk-s-jun...

Elon Musk biographer here. The "missing context" from the op-ed below is that Musk has been spreading racist and antisemitic memes, screenshots, graphs, charts, unsourced narratives, tropes, and buzzwords for 18 months now. Publicly. Daily. The Post either knows this or should not be in business.

THE MAN IN THE RIVER Once there was a wise man, who travelled to strange lands, and as he travelled, he came to the bank of a winding river. Edging the bank were houses, set at distances from one another. The wise man walked upstream, watching the slow current carry leaves and twigs past him.
