Not only that there are many artists who enjoy drawing porn and they shouldn't be ashamed to sell it and charge what they're worth. Shaming sex workers who star in porn and artists who draw porn just makes things more dangerous for them and hurts their livelihoods.

The Other Happy Place@theotherhappyplace.bsky.social

I think artists and sex workers should have a natural allyship. Both of us are often told we should not be allowed to charge for our work if it is at all pleasurable. Both of us are wanted for what we can do, but our work is considered not worth paying for. We should stick together

I can't promise you we'll win, but I can promise you that every successful civil rights movement has faced this exact hurdle. Dr Martin Luther King's Letter from Birmingham Jail covered it in his time beautifully.

Why must I hear people say ricing in videos about Linux, it is denigrating and racist in origins because Americans are jingoistic idiots that hate change and Japanese cars were scary and there kids kept getting them and tuning them. it should have died, yet here in 2026 people be saying shit 🤦‍♀️

I can't quite figure out the demographic or target for Hollywood Undead. As a rap group they are... boring and uninspired as a rock group also middling at best. listening to their 2022 album. at least a couple songs from 2006 were funny when not f slurs.

why can't we live in the reality where you wake up healed after receiving a mortal injury, it makes trying out the really hot things in my brain really hard to pull off

No, I assure you his whole routine was vetted, that he rehearsed it multiple times so they could light him and get their timing down, no part of this routine was a surprise to the folks running SNL except perhaps the response.

Wouldn’t all of the SNL staff be implicated here as well? Do hosts just do their own thing in these monologues? I assume they are written or at least co-written with the show’s writers.
