Having a cat is a wonderful thing. Cuddles. Meows. Smelling your way through the house for hours only to find a dead mouse jammed so deeply in to your vacuum you have to disassemble it to get the carcass out while franticly trying to not throw up from the smell of rotten flesh. A wonderful thing.

Some conferences end. The learning continues. Our final #PSConfEU 2026 recordings drop this Friday, including all Community Demos. 9 speakers. 9 ideas. Countless things to try in your next PowerShell project. Watch here: youtube.com/playlist?list=P... #PowerShell #Automation

This session from #PSConfEU is, by far, my favorite one ever done... Learnt a lot, laughed a lot, and... Got a full 5.0 score on the feedback form. I may have peaked now 😁

"You can spend half a year, of dumb ideas, just to rick roll a conference" Rick rolling aside, this was another great session by @bjompen.com especially for going into thread-safe injection techniques www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEah... Code from this session available > github.com/psconfeu/202...

I'm happy to share that I've been awarded Microsoft MVP in PowerShell. Thank you to everyone who's helped make the PowerShell community such a welcoming place to learn, build, and share. I'm looking forward to contributing even more in the coming years. #MicrosoftMVP #PowerShell

I just released my first #VSCode extension. PSSecretScanner for VSCode. Highlight and twiggle possible secret leakage in code. Builds on the same patterns and lists and is 100% compatible with PSSecretScanner. Go check it out! marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemNa...

"Hey Bjompen, why don't you throw away that ugly computer under your tv and buy a smart tv instead - they are so much better"

Tom Warren@tomwarren.co.uk

honestly, fuck LG for adding these notifications at startup on their TVs. I had every option for promotions disabled in the system settings, but they added new ones through the built in apps. I’ll never ever own anything LG ever again.

It appears #VSCode can only have 477 simultaneous red twigglys before it just stops - at least in debug mode for an extension I'm working on. I wonder if it's a secret setting somewhere..

I've been preaching this grape since it was first introduced. Extendable parameter files are extremely cool, and incredibly useful for standardization!

Brian Veldman@brianveldman.bsky.social

Extendable parameter files have reached General Availability (GA). This feature introduces the extends keyword for .bicepparam files, making it easier to reuse parameter configurations across environments while reducing duplication and improving maintainability. cloudtips.nl/the-new-bice...
