Webauthn allow you to e2e encrypt user data Here is a password manager I built with @convex.dev's chef but after you login it ask for a passkey and that passkey is used to encrypt your passwords before sending them to the server giving to you Zero Knowledge convex setup chef.show/56627f

Apple keychain and other password managers will sync your passkeys so you can easily encrypt your data on any of your devices.

Claude 3.7 sonnet is cracked. People having issues with drive by refactoring are not being specific with their prompts. And by specific I mean they should be passing in massive test files that explain why the code works the way it currently works. Otherwise Claude just assumes it’s not important.

@flashes.blue is it possible to toggle my settings so that only things explicitly posted to flashes show up. I don’t like how my profile page is half memes I posted to bsky and the other half are my photos.

SCOOP: DOGE wants to rebuild SSA's codebase in months, risking benefits and system collapse, sources tell me. The plan is to migrate all systems off COBOL quickly which would likely require the use of generative AI. www.wired.com/story/doge-r...

Realizing code transformations libraries are 1000x times easier to create because you just setup the fixtures and then tell the AI to come up with the algorithm and you just loop on your unit test until done. You can even profile test times and try to make optimizations.

I'm willing to wager this was why rewriting typescript went from being impossible because it's so large and has no spec to being 80% done.

Okay the whole OpenAI getting scraped by Deepseek is kind of funny considering I can’t even read their docs with a bot and there are actually legitimate use cases for this.

The take that open ai also stole their data is funny but doesn’t this prove that the billion dollar training run was required to get the training for R1 down to a 10 million dollar run. So I should buy NVDA

OpenAI says it has evidence China’s DeepSeek used its model to train competitor https://www.ft.com/content/a0dfedd1-5255-4fa9-8ccc-1fe01de87ea6

China, Ilya and Pelosi all saw Deepseek coming.
