psa to pixelartists on here if you upscale your pixels to 8x (and ensure the entire canvas is aligned on the 8x8 grid) they come out (moderately) normal looking. the jpegging on this site is ROUGH and this method is one of the few I've used that consistently makes pixel pieces look okay
