you also do your best to divest responsibilities from those potentially powerful entities one of the reasons it’s so important to have community driven curation and moderation is so that doesn’t get done by these powerful aggregators, because that becomes the mechanism of control over people

how do you explain to someone that tpot is "the spark of intelligence" "a place of belonging" "a stranger with a kind word" "a new insight" "a clever jib" "the warm caress of the void" "where i am me unadorned and without context"

Size matters not. Look at me. Judge me by my size, do you? Hmm? And well you should not. For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is. Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter.

this is the thread i got blocked from... just left that one really informative comment i think the problem is that we're rat adjacent? lol folks nobody has a more nuanced critique of rationalist morality i promise

tpot was previously known as postrat twitter until too many people joined who don't fit that description best way to understand it is look at the name. it means nothing the group largely rejects ideologies and in particular ideological discussion and augment on their timelines

woah i just had like a flash back to a time as a child when i thought in order for anyone to like me i had to act like them study and mimic barely conscious very visceral especially connected to dialog, what i talked about, feels like a lot of what i said was to fit in interesting recollection

i am so grateful that everyone is different and that most people around me agree this is a good thing even if it costs us something to be so diverse, i simply cannot fathom the horror of being trapped in a society where pressures to conform were dominant this is my favorite part of here and now

i love how we wonder how the ai is going to escape like we're not going to shove this stuff down every crack that can turn a profit and drive shareholder value lol yud right bout one thing at least it is not looking good for us to suddenly get our own shit aligned before judgement day comes
