Hidden in some development files was an unmasked version of Kabal (kabal_nomask.dff).

This arena was in a folder called temp, and is called the Tomb. I don't think its Liu Kang's tomb, some of the files point to it being used as a temporary Konquest training area, though I could be wrong! (MK Deception still)

Thereโ€™s an Atari 2600 Heavy Sixer autographed by Nolan Bushnell, and the auction ends in 90 minutes. Please buy it so that I donโ€™t.

The Strong's annual fundraiser auction is happening right now, and ends tomorrow! Tons of great packages that were donated specifically to support the museum. Pick up a signed Atari 2600, or even dinner with our CEO! playball2026.ggo.bid/n/package-list

Cool to see some of the unfinished characters in the code working on Deception, though clearly incomplete. I know modders have gotten some of it to work. Some are likely things that survived from Deadly Alliance in early dev for the sequel. Either way, files only taken from Deception dev files.

I was able to get it to build everything properly, so it enabled some of the early destruction tests that weren't previously enabled. A lot of it is built off of early Saint's Row material, with some apologies in the code for how they were hacking it up.

The issue with installing a bunch of old games on a new computer is having to get them working. Is DGVoodoo going to work today? Is there some weird registry thing I need to do? Oh wait, it has safedisc! Maybe the multiplayer only wants to show serial ports today. It's endless! But fun.

Cyberstorm has been emulated for a few years, but I think the version out there is the same as what is in the cabinet at The Strong (shown here shortly after it arrived)

BMX Heat, an unreleased prototype by Atari, uses some hardware similar to Hard Drivin (or Street Drivin), and would have had a bicycle controller to play! Image from the collection at The Strong.

Virtua Fighter 2 PC working now after finding the Heat option. FIFA99 is also working after toying with ipxwrapper, which makes it the first IPX game officially working.

Are there any cheap, BC250-like, boards out there that are Windows compatible? I could pick up a bunch of Atari VCS, but those arent terribly cheap. I want to make a 4-player Heat setup I could test. Alternatively Ill just pick up some old thinkpads.

I would love to be able to get 4 of the same thing so I can easily manage them (or expand it to more in the future). If BC250 were windows compatible, I would have 3d printed an enclosure that would have been portable.

Baldur's Gate works, minus some probably DDraw issues I didnt both fixing (which is honestly the biggest headache at this point, easy to solve, just one more step every time)

A real surprise to me, fixing bugs actually, you know, fixed things with some games, now Flesh Feast, a somewhat controversial game, is playable. Id share a screenshot but they only captured a fraction of the screen, so next time?
