i don't want to say much about 'you can see everything' because the viewers discovery is so important and i don't want to spoil it, but there's a specific name mentioned 2/3's into the film so unexpected that the entire theater erupted, what an unbelievable movie experience

fuckkk i accidentally launched an arg with my studio closure announcement and now everyone is decoding ciphers instead of helping me fuckkkkkkk

have weirdly been seeing many takes saying Seven Havens is part of this coordinated effort by the Avatar franchise to tear down Korra’s legacy and like hello? no? it’s so clearly and unambiguously in-universe propaganda and revisionism and she’s 100% the showrunners’ babygirl and will be redeemed

i generally try to have patience for ppl arriving at takes i disagree with but in this case i think a large portion of the Avatar fanbase is maybe really really bad at watching television to a degree i didn’t think was possible

Kotaro Uchikoshi's next game "suddenly canceled," was to be announced with his new company "Crash Keys"

this is a nice example of an aspect of the hyperpop ethos i was really drawn to, where so much effort and energy goes towards making the catchiest ideas you've ever heard and then we just excitedly and unceremoniously switch up to the next idea the exact millisecond they start to lose interest

Always kind of thinking about Marisa Tomei's 3/4 length sleeve (?), mock neck (?), lightly shoulder-padded (?), floral catsuit from MY COUSIN VINNY so I sketched it.

many things i don’t think Fucking Suck Actually but i feel the pendulum has broadly swung too far the other way. there’s no way all of these things are the Literal Coolest Thing Ever

much love to my friends too but sometimes i’ll say smth silly style and invariably get a reply along the lines of “obsessed with that tbh”. no you arent. u don’t have to lie you can just say that what i said was kind of funny. obsession is scary and a bit much.. they made a movie about this recently

haven’t listened to much 2hollis but that new track feels like something off of futuresex/lovesounds 20 years ago filtered through the lens of rustie 10 years ago. i like both those so this is fine. there’s precedence for straight white boys doing this sort of thing so not worth the anger imo lol

it’s gonna be so funny when mitch mcconnell’s death is officially announced only to almost immediately be upstaged again this time with trump’s death announcement
