Weird. I also started a Union at Neptune Theatre years ago and have been to all the provinces and none of the territories. I guess my third would be, I made the safe that they pulled out of the water with the drawing of "Rose" in it for the movie Titanic. Your third one's better though.

Weird accomplishments; Got HRT covered at a dozen universities in Eastern Canada by being mad about it Unionized my workplace in protest of library cuts and they made me the Local president because of it Have been to every province in Canada (except the territories, you're next) Hoping for more!

OMFG! The REAL problem with Bluesky is that every other day some jagoff comes over here from shitter to tell us how much this site and we SUCK. Just pretend that we like it here, prefer it over the site that caters to Nazi's and bots and either STFU or FO. F'n sick of being scolded by "bubble" heads

Corey Atad@coreyatad.com

i think, end of the day, the real problem with Bluesky is that most of its users are here *because* they want to be in a bubble. and they can tell themselves that it’s just about not being around Nazis it supporting Musk, and that’s part of it, but also there’s a palpable desire to be ensconced.

There should be a TW on this for anyone who's heard @gravecraver.bsky.social 's depiction of a seagull eating a puffin. Over 20 years since he told me and I'm still traumatized every time I see one of those cute little Newfie penguins. He's a bad man.

We have an *extremely* important announcement to make. From Wednesday, we will be launching our puffin live cam, coming to you from the Farne Islands. So you can watch puffins all day long. In celebration, please enjoy this clip of puffins being really busy for 39 seconds straight.

Abearham Lincoln was right there!

Alyshah Hasham@alyshah.bsky.social

If you’ve been along Eglinton in the last few months you might have noticed something large and hairy developing in the distance. It’s turned out to be a massive Lincoln monument-style statue.. with a female grizzly bear on the seat instead. I spoke to the sculptor: www.thestar.com/news/gta/a-g...

Had our Friday scrabble night with the fam 2nite and I said "Hard to believe the Turning Point guy got offed by a 4chan groyper, eh?" and none of us knew what I was talking about.

Nice Dude (sincere)@sortabad.bsky.social

annoyed I had to learn what a groyper is

It's been three weeks today since these two little monsters/bundles of joy came to live with us. A week before that they were still living outdoors in a feral colony. They're the sweetest little boys and only occasionally chaotic.

You know, if that one guy decided to make an example of that other guy, and threw him under the bus, it would probably dominate the news for the next 3-4 years. Not only would the trial of the century distract all the media and the populace, he'd have a perfect scapegoat for EVERY problem.

Whenever I find myself next to a stranger at a urinal I always say "I don't know what kind of beer you're drinking but it's something European" to break the ice.

Instead of OJ this morning I made myself a nice morning cocktail. 1 oz. Crown Royal, 1 oz. Canadian Club and 1 oz. of moonshine. I call it the "Rye's and Shine."

You are up to date.
