The only moment I can remember being of real value in the WH press room was when @briankarem.bsky.social asked trump whether he would accept the result of the 2020 election and he basically said no. If I made a movie about American's descent to autocracy it would be the opening sequence.

Two thing can be true. The WH kicking out media it doesn’t like is absolutely a First Amendment violation. And There is little journalism of value to be found in the highly controlled, substance-free halls of power—wall-to-wall navel-gazing about one’s access probably being of the least value.
