Not beating the accusations that the NBA treats the W like it's the Europa League. If the Dream come close to filling State Farm on Thursday at lunchtime with three days' notice it will be an amazing accomplishment

BREAKING: Game 6 of the WNBA Finals will be held Thursday at 12:30pm ET at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, sources told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. It will be a double-header with the Atlanta Hawks’ game, which will be moved to 8pm.

No one has any rights in a country led by people who believe this.

Rally speaker: "Mike Rogers is an American. Abdul has a birth certificate. The birth certificate says he's a citizen of America. You know what? a birth certificate doesn't make you an American."

I think the answers here are for the NBA to go dark on WNBA Finals days or to limit home games to the arenas that aren't shared (a shrinking number as the league expands). Honestly this gets harder with a 50-game schedule.

There will be a Game 6 of the WNBA Finals in Atlanta. But nobody knows yet where or even when the game will be played despite a furious round of negotiations spilling into Sunday between the WNBA, NBA, Valks, Dream and Hawks. What we know, with @ramonaespn.bsky.social www.espn.com/wnba/story/_...

To me the problem is not the pardon power, it is the preemptive pardon. A normal pardon is setting aside a finding of fact for extenuating circumstances. Before the finding of fact, pre pardons are just the direction of DOJ resources, which shouldn't be determined by former presidents.

Thought experiment: if the Constitution said that it required the Rule of Law, would that preclude Trump from being immune to criminal prosecution and invalidate pardons given to accomplices and coconspirators?

The Democratic candidate who wants my vote in the 2028 primary should promise to cooperate fully with any state-level investigations and to honor every international extradition request for people put beyond the reach of the federal courts.

Is that Britt McHenry the former ESPN personality?

Yashar Ali 🐘@yasharali.bsky.social

1. So let me get this straight — based on all the reporting… Britt McHenry, a now-former official in Trump’s State Department, made a snarky comment to a group of men who were heckling Kyle Kuzma and calling his fiancée, Winnie Harlow — the Black model who has vitiligo — “ugly.”

I have already voted, but I'd do voter fraud for Kerry Washington

"The Jews who went to Mississippi didn't take selfies and post tweets." Okay, but honestly, if tweets had been a thing in 1961, many of them probably would have done.

Ramaswamy has produced an attack ad weaponizing the rape of his opponent, Amy Acton, when she was 12 years old. It features Acton’s mother, who abandoned Acton after she was raped by her step-father, fleeing the state with her husband. Here is the corporate money helping fund that ad.

Me: Political news coverage is too poll driven and that should change <monkey's paw curls>

Jeff Kosseff@jkosseff.bsky.social

Yes, the mere threat to use news distortion/broadcast hoax to go after reporting about polls violates the First Amendment. No, I don’t think broadcasters will challenge this in court, at least not before the election (and the chilling effects already would have worked their magic on news coverage).

In any other admin, this would probably be the most outrageous official statement ever made by a sitting FCC director: Strongly implying that the government forbids broadcast networks from reporting on the president's falling poll numbers. (Sorry to paste from twitter but that's where he posts.)
