Back home from Momocon 2026 and holy shit what a time it was. This was both my first convention and my first out of state LAN, and now I definitely don't want it to be the last. I got to spend a lot of time with some really cool people and it was honestly everything I could've asked for and more.

I know I'm late but it's taken me a while to fully gather my thoughts. I'm mostly frustrated that the kindness of myself and some of my friends was taken advantage of in this way. That's entirely on me for not doing good journalism, but now I sit with the knowledge that I partially fueled the flames

So, back to my initial question. What does this video/document accomplish? This will undoubtedly lead to Six and iMad getting harassed even more, even if that wasn't the intent. This will cause victims to continue to be afraid to come forward with their stories bc of how this case was mishandled.

This will bring more negative attention to the community right before its biggest celebration and event ever. And, because of that, this will cause myself and many others to not trust Splat Safety, as the reckless release of this doc does nothing to make this community safer. Hope it was worth it.

timing is doing no favors. However, the biggest issue is that, at the end of the day, the org is called Splat Safety, not Splat Who Was Right and Wrong. A member of the community tried to express that she felt unsafe, and SS not only failed her last year, but failed once again by reigniting the

drama and her harassment. I'm not saying to believe all accusations, that would be absurd, but the precedent that this case is setting should make any victim afraid to come forth to this org that's supposed to keep them safe, lest their case be mishandled and personal information be put on blast.

from what I've observed, most people that deserve to get banned are either excommunicated before Splat Safety makes a verdict, or don't get banned by Splat Safety at all. The timing of this coming out is also not helping it. Sandwiching its release between Madness' attempt to re-join the community,

over the last 3 years I've been in the community, I don't recall Splat Safety ever being seen as very legitimate in the first place. I never remember trust in the org being very high, with the Isaac and Heller situations coming to mind, and although the doc states there are new faces and processes,

LTC 2024 was by far the best weekend of my life. I saw so many great friends, I got to fulfill my dream of commentating at a major LAN with some of the best to ever do it, watching Moonlight in grands was unforgettable, it was just magical. I can't wait until I can go to my next LAN
