When will Trump threaten to annex or invade England if the Oxford English Dictionary resists including his new word “mutilization” and removing the old word that is fake and has low ratings and nobody’s ever heard of?

I am sure if the maker of this meme knew what year this happened and had a link to a source it’d appear here.

And then did Berman ask Moore: “Why did you just say: ‘We had much higher inflation under Biden?’”? Transcript stops too soon to say if he did or not. Doubt it.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

STEPHEN MOORE: We had much much higher inflation under Biden BERMAN: Let me stop you. Has inflation gone up or down since Trump took office? MOORE: Well, it was about 3.2% when Biden left office, it's 3.4% now BERMAN: So it's gone up MOORE: That is true

Today is pub day for my book, "HOW RUSSIA WON: Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and the Fight for America." Please watch this video and pass it on. It's time to reclaim the Trump-Russia narrative and recognize Putin is continuing his years-long war on America and Trump is complicit. HowRussiaWon.com

Ed Sheeran didn’t need to come out in favor of Palestinian rights. He just needed to come out against fat cat censorship of a fellow artist who did support Palestinian rights. How embarrassing that he couldn’t even do that.

The least discussed consequence of the attacks in 2016 was getting the entire country *including Democrats* to question election integrity. We will not have a single national election for the foreseeable without major segments of the electorate rejecting the results That was Putin's victory.

Tight oversight when he packs what he deems his personal belongings and moves out of the White House, I trust.

He promised to be transparent and honest. He hasn’t been the entire time, and I suspect that he still isn’t. I’m sure this may be part of the story, but not the whole story. This could have been easily disclosed months ago if this is all that was going on.

Found this two-year old take on Trump by Nate White, across the Atlantic, posted by Dr. Tea, Cake, & Revolution. A sensibility and mentality downloaded and installed throughout online MAGA Land, I’d say.

London Review of Books essay on “Forbidden Desire in Early Modern Europe: Male-male Sexual Relations, 1400-1750” by Noel Malcolm begins by quoting a Tweet from the very last days of Trump’s 2024 campaign.

“Lying is a sacrament in the Church of MAGA, an affirmation of unquestioning loyalty. If you’re willing to debase yourself with outrageous dishonesty, welcome to the club.” Which is not to say that all Republican lies are the same. I think they come in 10 flavors. My Stop the Presses newsletter.

I've called for cancellation of the correspondents' dinner, but Margaret Sullivan prefers a "radical reimagining" to boost the free press, not its enemies. I'm thrilled that Margaret recommends reading my newsletter, in which I object to seeking "unity" with politicians. 1/2🧵 @sulliview.bsky.social

For rescheduled White House Correspondents Dinner get that Mission Impossible false-face mask-maker to let Kimmel and Obama go undetected to the dais, peel off their latex, discharge a double-team roast of Trump until counterterrorism operatives take them down and disappear the duo to a black site.

the WH press corps is insane... Trump orders Kimmel fired and they are going to have another dinner with Trump. F++k that. You people have no self respect

Instead of looking down on people for reading the headlines but not the stories, maybe the news media ought to consider writing better headlines.

Author of subheadline “Marci Rodgers couldn’t dip into Michael Jackson’s archive” read article? Or fault of VF’s AI? See nothing about anyone or anything blocking this costume designer’s access to original garments in Jackson’s wardrobe archive. Never had to hallucinate costumes from whole cloth.

Vanity Fair@vanityfair.com

‘Michael’ costume designer Marci Rodgers didn’t have access to the singer’s wardrobe archive, so she headed to the library, studying old issues of ‘Jet’ magazine to get the King of Pop’s look exactly right

The White House Correspondents Dinner has always made DC journalists look bad by showing them partying with people they're supposed to be covering. The 2026 event later this month will be even more embarrassing because of the planned attendance of Trump, who aims to destroy freedom of the press.
