Why have so many people fallen behind?
It's not because of immigrants, trans people, or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.
It's because corporations and billionaires rigged the system in their favor — and a bought-off political establishment let it happen.
It's time to fix the system.
WHEN THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES SAYS HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT AMERICANS FINANCIAL SITUATION.
ITS TIME TO GET RID OF HIM.
WHY WASN’T BEING A RAPIST, A PEDOPHILE AND A RACIST ENOUGH!??
$400M for Trump's ballroom?
On top of:
-$1.5T for the Pentagon
-$170B for ICE and Border Patrol
-$1B to refurbish Trump's Qatar jet
-$496M to send National Guard into cities
-$230M for Trump's DOJ "compensation"
-$100M for Trump's golf outings
But nothing for working people.
Remember that MLK said America suffers not just from "the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people."
They said Vietnam would be over withing 6 weeks or less (a 19 year war). They said Afghanistan would be over in less than 2 months (a 20 year war).
Trump now says, after sending thousands of US soldiers, Iran will be over in the coming 6 weeks at the most...
... you go figure how true that'll be.
Mere months into 2026, just 50 American billionaires have already pumped a jaw-dropping $433 MILLION into the midterm elections — the overwhelming majority of which has benefitted Republicans.
Citizens United is corrupting our system every day.
This has been the GOP's "starve-the-beast" scheme for nearly 50 years. Meanwhile, millions suffer and struggle to get ahead as the rich get richer. See the problem here?
Uncle Jeffy Tiedrich says today in his newsletter:
"Here’s one sure way you can tell you’re living in a shithole country: when the following two headlines appear one after another."
It is notable that Andrew has been arrested for 'misconduct in public office,' which is precisely what the US Supreme Court decided no American president can ever be charged with.
- The Economist's Matt Steinglass
Yet another sad reminder that there is a two-tiered justice system in America: One for the rich. Another for everyone else.
If elites can be held accountable in other parts of the world, why can't they be held accountable in America?
History teaches us that the greatest harms often begin with the quiet acceptance of the unacceptable. I have seen where that road leads, and I will not walk it again without resistance.
Masked government agents are conducting “show me your papers” stops, detaining 5-year-olds to use them as bait, and brutally murdering U.S. citizens.
Call it what it is — fascism.
History will not look fondly on politicians and so-called "leaders" of this country who stood by and enabled this.
Remember: The real freeloaders in this country are the rich — not the poor or immigrants or any other group of people vilified as scapegoats. The richest 1% evade $163 billion in taxes every year. The United States literally has yacht and private jet tax deductions. Hello?
Renee Nicole Good was murdered. Marimar Martinez was shot. Mahmoud Khalil was arrested and jailed.
The next could be you.
What’s at stake isn’t just American democracy. It’s also your safety and security and that of your loved ones.
This is personal — to every one of us.
So let me get this straight. The man who tore down the East Wing of the White House in order to build an oversized ballroom that no one asked for has launched an investigation into Jerome Powell over renovations to the Federal Reserve headquarters.
Did I get that right?
I am no longer interested in nuanced policy positions for the Democratic Party. I will be voting based on one issue:
Prosecutions.
Can’t commit to holding the Trump admin accountable?
Fuck off, you don’t get my vote.
“Every system of injustice depends on the silence, paralysis, confusion, and cooperation of those it seeks to eliminate or control.”
-Michelle Alexander
That one person can drag us into a war without consulting or even notifying Congress, or our allies, or fully explaining to the American people why this is necessary, is absolutely bonkers.
Reminder that Congress has the power to stop all of this. Where the hell are they?
Democrats
All I am saying is you are STILL polling lower than TRUMP, for not stopping him.
And you won't own it...
See, you might get my vote, but you a got a fking LONG WAY TO GO, if you want my RESPECT
You won't get rid of anyone, your donors are still FIRST

There’s a lesson there.
Did the United States really spend trillions of dollars on winning the Cold War, only for its president in 2025 take orders from a Russian dictator?
This is an earth-shattering humiliation for America of which its reputation may never recover.
Politicians are now saying the way to fix democracy is to have less of it. Give all the power to one elected person who can do whatever they want until we try to remove them. Cool. That's not worrying at all.
Too many of us are asking the wrong question about the Trump-Epstein saga. We keep asking if there is a smoking gun. Instead, we should be asking why so many people in power have done nothing about where smoke has been pouring from for years.
