So last day sightseeing tomorrow we start the trek back to Tokyo for one night then back home. Today was castles a bloody high building and a tourist trap market that was fun.

Today was a free day for us and we always planed to head out for shopping unfortunately the weather was not on our side but we still had a great time in Kyoto in fact the rain added a very nice atmosphere to a walk through a bamboo forest and finished at nijo castle which is more palace then fort

Today we had a guided tour of Kyoto and went to inari shrine which is famous for having around 10000 Tori gates it is also graded by foxes which was cool then stroked though some beautiful shopping streets of Kyoto it ended in a tea ceremony in kimonos

Today was festival day in Kyoto two very different festivals. The first was a festival of Japanese clothing through the ages although the procession was painfully slow at times and included regular stops to allow busses and cars to pass it was cool to see. Here are a few phone pics more latter

The second festival was the kurama fire festival which is a real Japanese festival steeped in there culture with some cool scenes. Sadly the festival has become a little too popular and was over crowded beyond belief which was not great for my social anxiety.but here are some cool pics

Honestly Hiroshima has surprised me. I came to pay my respects but today went so different.. started with a trip to a cat cafe which was fun then we went to an island to the south to see a temple and a famous floating tori gate

while there were got mobbed by deer which was not on my bingo list but hilariously none the less. Finally we did go to the peace shrine. I will say few words other then I shed tears

Oh boy oh boy oh boy I got to ride a bullet train! So far today has been walking down a mountain finding an unexpected castle and ridding the bullet train... Not the most comfy of trains but man do they shift!

Just Ben to my first onsein or Japanese public bath. No pics I am afraid too many naked people (yes including myself) but this place is so quiet and beautiful it is wonderful

I remember a comment on a video about weasels and stoats that went like "I love mustelids in all forms. They were basically nature's attempt to make the muderiest shape possible and the result was a tube with fangs."

The fact that one of the most ferocious deadly carnivorous predators on the face of this earth in terms of successful hunts looks like this, is irrefutable proof that nature has a sense of humor 💜

Did some classic tourist things today, saw the Imperial Palace as well as the Tokyo Tower. We also went to a breathtaking art display and at the very end ate way too much katsu curry. I'm a very round chicken.

Last day in Tokyo started with a quick trip to a Pokémon center as drac hunts his personal fav Pokémon followed by the most immersive and amazing art installation of light I have ever seen it was like being in a very world. And finally a tall erection and a imperial palace

Also fun fact for today we had our first earthquake 6.9 but we were a good distance from the epicenter so barely felt it if at all but sirens were going off all over the place

Ok today was amazing. Private sight seeing trip to see mount Fuji but became so much more. We got a beautiful view of the mountain then went for a small cruise on a fake pirate ship before getting in a cable car up to a volcanic caldera spewing sulphurous smoke then a trip to a sculpture park

Unfortunately there is no pictures allowed inside of the studio Ghibli museum so I can show you how much it feels like you are inside a film like laputa or howls moving castle but the outside was kind of giving off the vibes

On the drive out to studio Ghibli we passed through the suburbs of Tokyo and I could not live there. The closeness of the housing is just to much for me. It is not bad just not something I could do personally
