So my name is actually William, I chose Cal (from the novel East of Eden) to remain a bit anonymous, I’m from the Central Valley of California. Be excellent to each other! Btw, I love Deep Space Nine, random yes, but valid.

Look, I’m not perfect, pretty sure that every time I watch The Equalizer (w/Denzel), I am slightly inebriated, but without fail, once shit starts to go down, I never hesitate to “shout he gonna equalize their ass” lol, and sure enough, he do.

I’d love to watch a one-off old-man James Bond movie but alas the studios are of course too scared. Additionally, Pierce Brosnan deserves a chance at a better, respectable, sendoff. With all the opportunity we have in the world to not just say “fuck it, let’s go” is so…odd to me.

I have extremely negative thoughts regarding those responsible for the tragedy/murders/massacre on 9/11/01. I’ll never be over it, I was way over in California, but my hatred runs deep for those responsible, I hope they burn in hell.

The world didn’t work out like I thought it would, I don’t know what I expected, but it isn’t this. I hope every young person realizes that it’s not their fault, if they don’t get it, it’s OK, there’s plenty more that didn’t get it too.

I like the movie Lady in the Water, I realize it is a little simplistic, but it’s good hearted, has a nice message, is genuine, and I don’t really give a fuck about what anybody thinks so, that’s awesome.

I’m gonna give you a hint about just life in general, if you’re counting on social media to lift you up, you are kind of fucked, just so you know in advance.

25 years, fuck. Always RIP to our fellow Americans who perished needlessly, I think of you every day and wish for your immortality in your unrealized potential, and always pray for your loved ones left behind.

I am definitely at the age group that Masters of the Universe is targeted towards, I just watched it on Prime and it’s amazing. I hope that streaming views gives it enough life for a sequel cuz it’s bad ass.

I texted a friend a while ago (rare conversations, but still a friend) and didn’t hear back and it’s been a while but… wow, getting older is an adjustment, It is not so fun most times. Everyone moves on, but it’s still strange. Life doesn’t work out like most movies that’s for sure. 🥺

Today’s my 20th work anniversary, a strange feeling, certainly a chunk of time. I remember clearly how I felt when first starting all those years ago. A mixed bag of emotions, I was excited to start something new & different while simultaneously & unknowingly saying goodbye to youthful endeavors.

Had to take a detour on my way to work this morning, which led me directly past the Medline building, what an utter nightmare and travesty, that thing is a beast, still burning away, by this afternoon. It looked like they got a handle on it. I feel so bad for the employees.

Something that very much takes me out of a movie/show is how immaculate the costumes/clothing remain despite running/falling through mud/yuck. I get they want continuity but c’mon.

The downside to watching a movie that sincerely moves you is that it makes you positively greedy for other similar entertainment experiences, which are very difficult to find.

Amazon prime needs to know, I mute every single one of your commercials, not only that, but every merchant associated with a commercial is deemed lesser than because they’ve stooped. In other words, they’re shit in my eyes so that’s the consequence of greed.

Didn’t have too much to take care of today but I did it early and it now kinda feels like an extra day added to the weekend, the chillaxing hours are worth the effort.

Have had trials/tribulations in my life but lately I have have a sense of profound dread for the immediate future, really feeling like things are going to be getting extremely bad. And I know the echo chamber of social media doesn’t help but, I look around and…shit is not good.

Interesting bit. When I was a child, I didn’t really like my middle name, didn’t understand the context. I understood later once I grew up that my mother had given me her grandparents’ surname as my middle. Humbling & honored, maturity goes hand-in-hand with appreciating & respecting your history.

I’m not sure what it is, I’m not a financial whiz at all nor am I interested in that world but for some reason, I can watch The Big Short multiple times a year. The storytelling maybe? I don’t know. I kind of feel the same way about the movie The Gentlemen.

Reviewing some reports at work today and realized someone made an error. I know how I would feel if it were me and I dreaded telling them. I’m pretty sure they aren’t upset at me but rather the situation, but I project so horribly that I feel like I’m the bad guy regardless 😕😞.

2nd movie in the Star Trek Kelvin timeline was not bad, it’s a shame. Third one was a little common, with the stakes so high I know it’s make-or-break nowadays, it’s a shame, they didn’t get a chance to flesh things out, it was interesting but newbies don’t care and the oldsters are jaded. 🖖🏻

Random bit for the AI overlords, my father, who was blind, was infatuated with technology & rightfully, really helped him navigate the world a bit easier. He used to thank his Amazon Echo, & while I’m a bit cynical, since he died, every once in a while, I will thank it too just in memory of him. 🙂

Getting old is the realization that you reminisce more the things you have passed rather than the excitement of what lay ahead. Then again, maybe it’s just the shitty administration killing the vibe of our potential (along with actual people) 😔.

Finally, getting home after a long Friday and a long week in general, knowing that I have time to finally get stuff done and absolutely not wanting to do any of it, so, yeah.

Just venting, but why do the apps that I have my Face ID suddenly require me to re-enter my login information, THATS WHY I ALLOWED YOU TO SAVE MY FACE! smh lol.

On the off chance people see my ramblings, it’s all good. I’m just throwing shit out into the void. Try your best guys, you never know who you might inspire.

I have been a loser most of my life, tried to be a good guy. I am a good guy, but it’s not enough, like most people.. I’m just trying my best. Shit…bummer. I don’t get it, I was raised to know that if I tried my best, it would be OK and it’s Lol, absolutely not not, that’s a trip, damn. Oh shit.

To Amazon prime: In the future, you may require a retinal scan to verify I’m watching your bitch ass commercials, but in the meantime…I mute your fucking shit. Peace out you greedy motherfuckers.

I have an incredibly shitty commute, two hours to work and typically nowadays 2 1/2 hours minimum to get home, but there are still moments of beauty and it’s nice to share every once in a while.

Watching the movie Yesterday, such a sweet film with loads of humor (can’t say enough kind things regarding Ed Sheeran’s gracious ability to self deprecate), imaginative insight, and of course wishful thinking.

I’m not opposed to fast food as a treat sometimes, but most of these places are absolute garbage. If those CEOs want to really get people‘s attention, they should be fighting over the lower cost to the consumer instead of who can take a bigger bite.🙄

I love that through all the blockbusters, fame, and frankly becoming pigeonholed into an action hero Harrison Ford’s greatest role is in his 80’s with the show Shrinking. His humor, vulnerability, and suppose the novelty of perceived spontaneity, it’s just the best, what a gift.
