I oppose name-calling, but how long does it take people to note the intense irony of Trump calling out an individual as a “liar,” a “fraud,” or “scum”? In the long term, the Trump name will be synonymous with the names he dishes out.

The turnout in small towns across the country has been incredible drawing crowds of thousands. We’re already seeing over one million in attendance nationwide, and events are still underway. Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Ohio all had especially surprising showings.

How very base Trump is, spewing any idea that comes to his hate-filled mind when he wakes up or can’t sleep. Thank God people are beginning to see. You might call it …. the base energizing the electorate.

Appalled by law firms capitulating. Threats based on personal revenge aren’t protected by immunity. If DT announced he’d pull SecLevs on all lawyers who refused to cut off their index and middle fingers (thereby preventing them from making peace sign), would DT be immune?

Hold that name, DT! Trump team must have missed the book. Literary genius George Saunders’ 2022 book titled “Liberation Day” includes story of an elder describing how Americans lost their fundamental freedoms by making small concessions to an authoritarian gov’t.

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble. For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity. What will you do?

Educators, law firms and others are being targeted and threatened for FOLLOWING THE LAW! The election — won on slim margin — didn’t give DT free rein to change est’d law. His vendettas are motivated by personal revenge and hatred. They must be resisted lest chaos grow an even wider path.

UPDATE: A third law firm — Wilmer Hale — has filed suit against Trump this AM, represented by veteran Supreme Court litigator Paul Clement. Clement says the executive orders are flagarantly unconstitutional and violate separation of powers. www.politico.com/news/2025/03...

This is how it's done. A strong and principled response by WilmerHale to the illegal Executive Order attack - a form of attempted government intimidation declared unconstitutional by a federal judge. This is how to guard the rule of law.

This is painful, and saddening, and embarrassing. I feel like we're losing a member of the family - and for no good reason other than that some Americans wanted another season of the worst reality TV show in history.

If Waltz and others completely disclaim knowledge of Goldberg, how do they know enough to slime him? We must begin asking bullies simple questions like “oh, to what Goldberg articles or work are you referring when you say he’s the worst journalist ?” Bullies wither in light of day.

We can never abandon the fight, there are too many of us that see and understand the importance of the moment. It is time for us to unite and fight as one. Never give up.

The first rule of Trumpism is to never apologize or admit wrongdoing. That’s why he’s not firing anyone or even entertaining the idea anybody around him did something wrong.

I know it bothers you as much as it does me that journalism as an institution can’t process that what it’s seeing on a daily basis is evil people doing evil sh*t Not incompetence, not naivete, not negligence, not mispeaking, not mixups, not miscommunications: straight-up evil people doing evil sh*t

Whatever happened to the "5 things " DoGe emails ? Talked to someone really smart who just left gov, who said all the emails bounced back as inbox full. Already forgotten Typical Ready Fire Aim

Ut oh. Consider content of the “attack” meeting. It’s blatantly about foreign “war” activity …. action by Admin w/out notice to Congress under War Powers Act. Never bought into a conspiracy theory, but these are strange times. Could Trump partisan purposely have added journalist to divert focus?

“Frivolous” is for courts to decide, not DT. Let him file suit if he feels something was frivolous. Of course, then he will be subject to discovery on the underlying claims.

Whether suits filed against Trump were “frivolous” (as he claims) can be adjudicated in court under well-established rules. Of course then he’d be subject to discovery of evidence on the claims he calls frivolous. Small wonder he’s trying to do by executive fiat. See him for what he is, folks.

Don’t dance a hater’s dance. Keep things simple when DT & cultists spew chaos. If they avoid concepts like Rule of Law & Due Process, ask Qs like: “What should compel us to follow Trump but not Courts?” Smile when you ask. They implode when we keep it simple.

Threatening to impeach judges who check your power is proof you need judges checking your power.

Attorneys aren’t permitted to participate in crime. Any lawyer who acted in defiance of a judicial directive — including those who “simply winked” — should be referred to ABA’s disciplinary committee. Due process must be followed, of course. Let’s hear from all. But MAGA nonsense must stop!

Dems lack strategy AND finesse right now. If a yes vote on budget truly was required to stem dictatorial power, why not vote “yes under coercion” or some such, to support message this package is entirely DT’s baby? (Yes, you’d have to vote in person from the floor to register objection.)
