Hearing reports that they are now sending results to the situation room in Toronto for a closer look.

Elections Alberts just confiirmed that they don't know if all of their polls are closed so that's why we don't have results. Given our top resource, it's wild how poorly an oiled machine we are.

Can't wait to see the results to Q11 of the referendum: "Should Alberta hold a binding referendum to determine whether McDavid and Draisaitl centre their own lines or play together?" #yeg

BREAKING: Premier Danielle Smith announces province will direct Edmonton to adopt infill housing rules that were in place before 2024, and require Calgary to maintain its current pre-2024 bylaw framework.

ICMYI - this new interactive dashboard for small-scale infill in Edmonton is a good place to start for understanding what's happening. It has the proper context like population growth, LRT proximity and the low % of properties redeveloped. #yeg #yegcc #yimby www.jacobdawang.com/projects/inf...

Is infill "destroying" Edmonton's neighbourhoods? Here are the facts: 📊 Only 1% of RS-zoned properties redeveloped since 2024 🏡 Half of new units have 3+ bedrooms 🚇 Density is clustering near LRT 📉 Most mature neighbourhoods have fewer people than 50 years ago #yeg #yegcc #yimby

Startling numbers. Traffic fatalities up almost 2.5x since 2019

#yeg needs Safe Mobility funding — but not a blank cheque. 10 years into #visionzero, deaths and serious injuries are rising much faster than traffic volumes. Council should fund safety, but demand data, better standards, stronger enforcement, and accountability. buff.ly/94omAna #yegbike

A few years ago Frontier started a search for scalable low-cost approaches to durable carbon removal that were under-invested in. Today we are launching the Quebec Surficial Mineralization Hub to kickstart one of the most promising:

Minnesota lawmaker Katie Jones rode in a cargo e-bike to the hospital for her baby's birth. Her husband, Peter Schmitt, pedaled the two miles there. On the return journey, their son Hans – all 8 pounds and 1 ounce of him – was bundled up and handled it just fine, Jones said.

I regret to inform you that the Globe and Mail's business section is at it again. I'll be taking two pieces into the ol' woodshed today. Let's start with this one:
