If you're on a desktop or laptop, it's going to be Windows. This is incredibly important in that JAWS and NVDA have different modes of operation compared to VoiceOver. Most people only test on macOS out of convenience, but it is not reflective of majority experience. webaim.org/projects/scr...

He usado LanguageTool en inglés, español y catalán y me gusta bastante.

70 percent of the internet was vulnerable yesterday to very bad security flaws inside a coding language. Turns out, *one volunteer* is mostly responsible for maintaining that code & helping push updates. Yesterday Ondřej Surý saved the internet. So I called him up www.theatlantic.com/technology/2...

Vale@vale.rocks

I was idly listening to the background noise of hard drive whirring and clicking coming from my MacBook, before I remembered it is a modern computer and doesn't have a hard drive. The fan isn't spinning either...

Programs that don't respect Windows a11y features piss me off. The Scintilla engine in Notepad++ constructs its own cursor and doesn't bother to align its styling with Windows. There's some customization, but not enough. In all other respects, Notepad++ works well for me, but this may drive me away.
