I've been doing this professional software engineer thing for 3 months shy of a decade and I don't think I've ever been this burnt out. Between senior leadership and product people whos brains have been completely cooked by AI and the constant fear of being laid off I dunno how much longer I can go

Isn't this the same fandom that has pretty universally accepted that you don't touch people or their fursuits without consent? Why is it suddenly unacceptable to not want people to clip shit to me without asking?

Right or wrong aside, if being flea’d at cons ruins your day, you are likely kinda miserable day-to-day because that’s a pathetic level of emotional fortitude. Sometimes a topic is less about if others’ behaviors are just or not but says more about your resilience to external factors.

Sure, a minor annoyance shouldn't ruin anyone's day, and the flea stuff definitely qualifies as a minor annoyance. That said: I'm not fursuiting for your enjoyment. I'm not here for you, and my fursuit is not community property. Come take pictures, ask for a hug, whatever, but *ask*
