I had a nightmare where friends pranked me by stealing my wedding ring and it led to a zany chase where I did eventually retrieve it but only by being entirely too serious about the situation and going all Taken instead of just letting it be a fun prank and yeah that seems about right.

I’ve been sanding down these doors (one panel at a time) to refinish them and hopefully I can get it all done by winter but the difference is pretty cool already

The doors are kind of fucked and the finish is really rotted so the sanding actually takes a lot of time and elbow grease (even with power tools) so every day I gotta whine and yell at myself that I gotta do it if it want it to get done

I really liked Clark's arc in Backrooms and found the first 1/3rd or 1/2 of it to be fun, curious, and spooky forced perspective. (I hate forced perspective stuff where the camera betrays your instincts but here the camera tended to follow my visual interest so it felt more honest)

This "tesla stock pop" article bugs me because whatever imaginary "pop" the article was citing was over before the article was even published, the article contains a TICKER SYMBOL under the title to show exactly how big a lie it is -- but we still get a day of everyone sharing it for the title.
