Congrats to His Holiness Leo XIV and may you continue to carry on Francis' legacy of walking the walk of Christ. (And if you are a Catholic or a Christian and are butthurt about this, might want to do some self reflecting. Just sayin.)

Robert Francis Prevost, who was elected the 267th pope of the Roman Catholic Church today and took the name Pope Leo XIV, is the first pope from the United States. A member of the Order of St. Augustine, he resembles the late Pope Francis in his commitment to the poor and migrants.

SeaQuest Vault recently posted about the components of the New Cape Quest skyline that’s become so familiar in season 2 so far. Here’s their post, and some images of the actual buildings used from St Pete’s FL:

It was never just about schools, it was never just about libraries, and it isn't actually about the books. It's about finding a way to banish entire people, entire ideas, out of society, back into the closet or worse. www.chron.com/politics/art...

#StateOfTheWIP update on my Scheherazade page. Added Castle Arts watercolor ✏️ in w the Prismas and it's been interesting. In some areas they work out good, others not so much. The curtain (upper right corner) is one of the better spots in this experiment. #adultcoloring #Prismacolor #CastleArts

Perioidic reminder that the reason you didn't see autistic people with intellectual disabilities on the street five decades ago was not because they didn't exist. It's because they were sent away to institutions and their parents were told to put away pictures of them.

AOC: We must acknowledge the terrifying moment we are in right now. What we are hearing and seeing with our own eyes is, in fact, happening. We are watching our neighbors, students, and friends being fired, targeted, and disappeared. It is real.
