My Carrick prediction is that he loses his job after being beaten by Chelsea this weekend. They then have an interim for the Roma and Villa games before appointing a permanent manager, just in time for a new manager bounce and morale boosting win against us at Anfield 😬😭

The Singapore Premier League is streaming on You Tube and Oakley Cannonier who was the ball boy who threw the ball on for the quick corner in the Champions League semi final against Barcelona is playing up front Can’t remember the last time I was so excited to see a player

Lovely goal in the Myanmar women’s league just now. A free kick from 30 yards out just casually side footed through the air into the top corner. It was so casual it was almost lazy but it was a fantastic goal

Worth remembering that United have Project 2028 where they aim to win the Premier League in their 150th anniversary which is the end of next season They may be up against it with regards to meeting their target

Minutes applause around the family breakfast table this morning for Dom’s birthday

Shatkhar v Inter in the UEFA Youth League. It’s 0-0 with the last few seconds of first half injury time and the Shatkar keeper comes off his line for a long ball, gets confused with his defence and is lobbed from about 30 yards by the Inter midfielder Vukaj

Inter score a second through the captain Carrara as he volleys a high cross home from ten yards out The Shatkhar coach who is watching from the sides is not having a very good day at all

Turns out she wasn’t trans, she was born female but the “we can always tell” brigade obviously know better 🙄

Unfollowed an account on the other place that tweets whenever a woman is murdered and the suspect is a man Except they deleted a tweet today which talked about the killing of a trans woman and then apologised “we mistakenly included a male in our tweets”

I’ve followed the account for years and it does great work, especially on International Women’s Day and the end of the year when it tweets out all names of the women killed that year and their photos to keep their memories going. But surely you count all dead women and not what your bigotry lets you

Anyway, I’m very aware I’m both a man commenting on a female issue and probably need to stay in my lane a bit and also I’m talking about an account on Twitter, but if I did it there instead the replies would be a bin fire 🏳️‍⚧️

The replies to the tweet were awful and TERFy. The deletion of the tweet, the referring to her as male and then allowing these comments afterwards really denigrates the memory of the woman who was killed

Imagine drag queens being so unimaginably damaging for kids that you have to actively remove any non-conformative gender expression from society, but livestreamed executions are fine...

I guess there’s an argument to say that if you’re in favour of the death penalty, then you should have to watch a livestream to see what it is you’re such a fan of and then see if you’re still a fan afterwards

Just watched Schumacher 94 on Netflix, absolutely fabulous stuff The first half of 1994 was mad for celebrity deaths that really affected 16 year old me - Senna, Bill Hicks and Kurt Cobain Richey Edwards went to the Priory and all seemed bleak. Then five Manc scallies came and blew us all away

The Chart Show was miles better than Top of the Pops. It played a load of records that you would never hear on TOTP and/or the radio.
