Absolutely fascinated by my international drivers permit. A physical multi page document with stamps, glued photo, handwriting and a reference to the Geneva Convention on Road Traffic of 1949. Never felt so retro in my life.

Dear America, I'll complain about your terrible coffee another day, but I cannot let today's tea travesty go. If someone asks you for peppermint tea, for the love of god, please don't ask if they'd like milk in it. That is all, thank you.

Right then, who loves chess? And anarchy?

I made a website. It's called "one million chessboards." It has a million chessboards on it. moving a piece moves it for everyone, instantly. No turns. You can move between boards. that's it. Have fun! onemillionchessboards.com

pnpm v10.9 is out with native support for the JSR registry! You can now install packages from JSR using the "jsr:" protocol. For example: pnpm add jsr:@hono/hono

#FreeJavaScript update: Oracle has informed us they won’t voluntarily withdraw their trademark on "JavaScript". Next: they’ll file their Answer and we’ll start discovery to show how "JavaScript" is widely recognized as a generic term and not controlled by Oracle.

Funerals are strange. Like, it's the first time you really get to learn all the amazing things about someone, except its too late to connect with them on any of it. I wonder what the world would be like if we knew all of our friends and families life story before they died.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardship as the pathway to peace.

You are up to date.
