From the Gloomfall Mystery series - Damian sees The Voice sitting next to him and he instantly tries to murder Her on the spot. After all the pain She put him through, I think he would justify trying that. #writingprompts

The Magica Riot series by Kara Buchanan. A trans woman joins a magical girl rock band and fights monsters to save the world.

FRIENDS: recommend some trans-authored books (including yours!) in the comments! And if you've never read a book by a trans person, browse the comments and you may find your next great read. No time like the present to stick it to the pieces of shit who think we ought neither to be seen or heard

Plan ahead a little more and take things one step at a time. #WeeknightWriters

Trying to figure out the messy middle. 😅 #WeeknightWriters

When it comes to outlining, I just bullet-point summarize what I wnat to do in certain scenes and then put it all together like puzzle pieces. #WeeknightWriters

Book 1 of the Gloomfall Mystery series has 3 people moving into the titular town of Gloomfall..and then they have to work together to find a missing mother. Chaos ensues as they try to track her down while surviving everyday life in this supernatural town. #WeeknightWriters

I switch betweeen Lawful Plantser and Chaotic Plantser depending on the WIP!😂 #WeeknightWriters

In the Gloomfall Mystery series, there are two food locations - a diner and a bakery! My characters visit both to eat and survive in their lives; it's a point of connection. Jiayi (one of my main characters) enjoys pineapple buns (also known as bolo bao). #WIP #WeeknightWriters #FirstDraftFall

#FirstDraftFall Working on plotting! Also I may have started actually writing more of the first draft so we'll see how that goes. 😆

My working title for my main antagonist of the Gloomfall mystery series is "The voice." Her power grows by feeding off the fear of others. #WIP #amwriting

#SelfPubCon is DONE! 😁 Now I just have #EscapeThePlotForest to catch up on. This one runs until the end of Wednesday so I hope I can keep track of the panels I wanted to watch! 😆✍️ #writingconferences #writinglife #writingcommunity #writesky

Update: I somehow survived. 😆Catching up with two webinars I missed earlier today, and then I'll be ready for the next day tomorrow! #booksky #writesky #writingconferences
