Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

i dont know how to get into any more details without sharing my whole lifes story, but working at starbucks where they are trying to push more technology that often causes more problems, it feels like the shadows of my past are haunting me sometimes. at least my coworkers actually care about me tho

we werent really taught how to negotiate anything, and thrust into a job market that will eat you alive if you dont stand up for yourself, at only 18. 18! programs like these are a devils bargain. trade your youth for promises of wealth

absolutely incredible follow up. the very next day, a truck has rolled up to the building NEXT DOOR and is digging a BRAND NEW HOLE.

5 years, 4 months, and 18 days ago, some workers came out to my apartment to fix something by digging a hole the street outside and inadvertently created a giant soaring fountain of water spewing into the sky. KC Water eventually got the spray under control, but the hole remained. Until today.
